Diamond Dogs

Diamond Dogs is a nice cozy little bar with a phenomenal back yard area. The gravel patio has a bunch of benches and chairs and is perfect on Spring, Summer or Fall nights to sit out back and have drinks with friends. The interior of Diamond Dogs is a smaller, narrow space, and dimly lit, which is great if that's the vibe you're into. (Not saying it's bad, just stating it as fact). No TVs. Not a huge selection of beers, but they're always poured solid and taste great. If you're looking for a lot of tap options, try somewhere else. Service has always been friendly. The front is kind of easy to miss, so keep your eye out. Highly recommend, love going here.

This place was fantastic! It looked closed from the outside, but the bar was alive and had a wonderful vibe. It was very much like a speakeasy. We came here for my friends birthday and had a few drinks. I highly recommend the Neon Knight if you like sweeter drinks. I love everything about Diamond Dogs and everyone there except for Pat!!! i dont know why they put Pat on for weekends now, when Pat gives rude and snarky service, preferential treatment to their friends, and generally has an unpleasant attitude and is always ready to try to make you feel like you’re stupid and annoying for wanting to come to the bar. Pat likes to act like patrons are all immediately stupid and drunk nuisances. Every other bartender has is great/normal and treats patrons with respect and kindness. I tried to avoid DD if I could spot Pat working there, but it’s difficult since they’ve been on weekends there now.

One of the best little secret but not so secret bars in Astoria! Amazing selection of drinks and beers and bartenders are so cool and conversational. You'll enjoy the backyard seating too where you can BYOF!

The cocktails here are fabulous!! The drink menu has a little something for everyone. Also, if you're not a big cocktail person, Diamond Dogs' beer selection is also very impressive! Finally the bartenders are top notch and extremely friendly. Plus there's a back patio!!!

Great cocktail bar with a beautiful interior and matching cocktails to boot. For those more inclined, there's a backyard that serves well as a gathering point in warmer weather. Wish they'd clean up some of the cigarette butts out there but that's just the cost of entry.

Diamond Dogs is a an awesome local bar here in Astoria! Nice selection of craft beers and great cocktails. My favorite part of the bar is the back patio where you can enjoy drinks outside on of their tables or picnic benches — giving a real warming environment for people to be social and kick back.

My go to local bar. It’s such a great place to meet new friends and hang out with your current ones!
