Great place to go if you want a good cold beer and to meet some very friendly locals! I’m a solo traveler and always check out the local watering holes…. so far in my travels, This is my favorite one!! The bartender welcomed me the minute that I walked in and included me in conversations. Lots of laughs and overall a fun evening!! No food but the very attentive and kind bartender took it upon herself to bring in homemade tacos for taco Tuesday free for all patrons…. They were amazing !! if you’re looking for some friendly people to hang out with and a fully stocked bar this is your place!!!

It's a dive!!! I mean this in a good way though. Worn out, run down, but fun locals, cold beer at a decent price. It's a bit rough, but most of the people seemed harmless. Don't expect too much and it will always be just enough.

Bartender Nicole kicks butt!! Her bar etiquette is like no other and she keeps the locals coming for more!! So, when in south Oc and feeling like great conversation, darts and billiards, come on over to Doheny saloon-Nicole has got you covered!!

Old timers and blue collar joint. Brotherly love sort of bar. Cheapest beers around - $9.25 32 oz domestic. Cheap pool - .50 a game, darts and the priceless zingers are free! Mostly busy during the afternoon. The grill comes out on Sun, so feel free to bring a special cut from home, or indulge in the burgers or hot dogs provided from the bar! Just remember, you have to grill it yourself. Speaking of Sunday's, there is a passionate football crowd in here - mostly Raiders fans. I'm a Broncos fan and it's my favorite place to watch the game!

Major dive bar. CASH ONLY. Came by (on accident) to watch football on a Sunday, lots of regulars. They offered us free burgers, the catch? You had to cook them yourself, which I found to be quite funny and didn't mind at all. They were great. Toppings and buns were setup in back to dress your patty. Craft draft beers were about $6. Everyone was friendly to us even though we were supporting the opposing team. (Definitely a Raiders bar.)

If you have ever heard the song, "I love this bar. This is it. It is hometown friendly, full of down to earth people. When I came here from Massachusetts I felt like a fish out of water. They made me feel at home and late at night there might be a singalong from old songs we all know from back in the day. good bartenders good people good times
