Karyn was our waitress. Great service!!! She helped me figure out what to order cause there is so many things on the menu!!!! Great music it’s. Loud music which was good. Amazing food. Super crispy tater tots. Great chicken buffalo wrap amazing French dip. Omg try Donkey punch drinks so refreshing. And they are strong.

I can’t say enough great things about Donkey Inn in Palatine! Every time we visit, Roxanne has been our bartender. She goes above and beyond to make sure we have a wonderful experience. Not only is she incredibly friendly and welcoming, but she also has an amazing ability to make every customer feel valued. Her attentiveness is truly impressive—she’s always checking in at just the right moments, ensuring everyone has what they need without us ever feeling rushed. The restaurant itself is fantastic. Donkey Inn has a large menu with something for everyone, and the food is delicious, making it the perfect spot to grab a quick bite or relax with friends. Roxanne is the reason we come back. She’s as professional as she is personable and really works hard to ensure a clean and inviting environment for her customers!

Great food in a comfortable and casual setting. There's a good reason the Donkey Inn has been around this long, it's because they do it right. Wide variety of menu options and consistently tasty food. Table service attentive. Facility spotless and relaxing. Overall, a great spot to stop and enjoy a drink or a meal, alone or with friends.

Awesome place! slider and churros are so delicious. Avocado toast was also good, just needs more avocado and some more seasoning for a better taste. Overall 10/10

Went on a Friday night after we beat Fremd. Cheeseburger was cooked just as ordered. The French fries were perfect as well. The chicken sandwich was just a chicken sandwich. The mozzarella sticks were hot and crispy. I’d go back. I’m surprised how many things are on the menu. @food_from_the_usa

Great place but can be more better. the employees are not very friendly. Everything else is good

Went for brunch with a friend. The food was excellent. I had a corned beef sandwich, and my friend had a club sandwich. We both upgraded to tater tots and onion rings, respectively.

My mom and I visited the Donkey Inn for a late lunch on a weekday afternoon. She went with a burger special and I decided I wanted an all-day breakfast dish. The food arrived warm and tasted good. The service was a bit slow but the waitress did mention one of the wait/bar staff had an injury which was why things were slower than usual. It was good to hear that because we did wonder why it was taking a while to get our drinks and food orders. Everything was great and I am looking forward to my next visit to give a more thorough review of different food options.
