Donz On the Lake

Great local bar with an awesome atmosphere in an incredible sunset view. The owners have done a great job of restoring the place and getting it back open after multiple floods and storms. If you're looking for a place to relax on the lakefront in Mandeville and enjoy a good drink this is the one you must check out.

This bar is a joke. DJ with dreds is SUPER rude. And the female chubby bar tender took forever to serve us and was super rude. It seems that no one likes their job there and don’t know how to wait on guests. I was in a goup of 10 people to celebrate my birthday and was incredibly disappointed at the service at this bar. Instead of spending your money here, go to Barley Oak they will treat you great and the drinks are better priced.

Great place for a cold beer and good mixed drinks.! Poll tables and it’s changed not the biker bar scene lol

Don's on the lake has a refreshed vibe thanks to owner and manager Kathy. It's a locals hangout with decent views of Lake Pontchatrain during the day. The back is open to the patio which makes it spacier and provides a breath of fresh air. Service is decent. They do not serve food. Drinks only.

This is an old dive bar with some modern style. It was a great atmosphere and cold drinks. Management was super friendly. It’s a must go bar.

My first time here not familar with it was playing pool having a good time. Abramdom lady comes up to me asking me if i can ready extremely rudely, and im not able to hit my vape where ive as. I was obviously confused and slightly upset about the interaction. She came back up and said you were looking at me crazy, just so you know i own this place. I get it you own the place but you came about the situation completely aggressive to a patron who had no clue of the rule. I actually went up to mend the situation and apologized and went about my night. She then comes up to my group of friends with a trash can basically shoving it on me telling us we need to clean up after ourselves Saying she doesn't pay us. As a customer that worked all day cleaning up after my guest with a smile that is unnaceptable. Ibasked a employee of hers ifbshe is always this way. He basically said she steals their tips every night. Would not reccommend coming here!!

Donz is back and better than ever. We love it. Great energy, awesome staff!

Big improvement. It's a great spot to have a beer and look at the water. Bartender's were very nice. Good music.
