Jason and Mel have really turned this place around! The bar food menu is delightful! Every server is knowledgeable and pleasant. The cooks are responsive and consistent. The drinks are reasonable. This is a great go to for locals and visitors alike.

Met friends for drinks and stayed for a light meal. Excellent tacos of shredded chicken in dipping sauce! Be sure to order corn tortillas! They add a little crunch!

Although I love this place for their smash burgers, when calling in for a pickup order you are charged an extra 10%. For what answering the phone. I was told that the $ goes to the cook, but wouldn’t he/she have to cook it if I ate in or walked in and ordered take out. Illegal and ridiculous!

Five-star bar! So comfortable and immediately at home, what a happy place! Pro team behind the bar and in the kitchen who remembered every customers' drink preferences. Funny, fun and welcoming to this out of towner/tourist but it's clear why other locals, bar and restaurant staff come here after their shifts. Added another night to our visit just for the chance to come back. Cheers DBaG see you again soon!!

I love local dive bars. My family rents vacation homes in nearby Wilmington, and every time I visit the area I make a stop at DBag. Food is good, beer selection is good. and the local hometown crowd mixes well with visitors. I highly recommend this local spot!

This was my first and last time coming here. My first 5mins there, the bartender (Lucy?) was rude and demanding; not friendly at all. She asked me three times if I wanted to open a tab, and I said, “no I want to close it.” Then my friend accidentally spilt her water on the bar, and she told the customer next to me “and that’s what you get for not tipping.” I visibly had a $20 bill in my hand and was waiting to ask her for change. As a waitress and bartender myself, I know to tip at least 20% and extra for good service. We also offered to clean it up. Aside from the poor service, my food did come out in a timely manner and everything was reasonably priced as well.

There are no linen tablecloths or even table service for that matter, but the food is the star here. Don't come if you have a show to catch because like most of Vermont these days they run on a skeleton crew but they do hustle to get everyone served. Walking into a place that embraces the nickname "DBaG"'s you would expect someone to yell "Flatlander" at you and throw a bottle , but the crowd has always been friendly and mellow any time I visited
