Down Time chapel Hill bar is so tight! The bartenders are super chill, the place is off the hook. The best place to hang out with friends and drink and have some fun. They just added this new kitchen where they served some of the BEST TACOS I ever taste. They also have some other delicious foods, that just make your mouth melt. They also do picks up! The only downside is that it isnt open 24/7.

I absolutely loved this place! Great food, great atmosphere and great drinks. Me and my friends had an awesome time. We will definitely be coming back often. I definitely recommend this establishment. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. They deserve it.

This place is LIIIIIT!! Being gluten free and vegetarian makes it super hard for me to eat anywhere. I spoke to the kitchen manager and he hooked it up sooooo good for me!!! I wasn’t even that hungry and scarfed down 4 tacos!!!! the bartenders are sooo awesome also!!! They are so nice and also super cute The energy at this bar is amazing!!! Super cool, underground aesthetic. The owners are super personable and friendly and absolutely want you to have the best experience here! Sooo basically Great food, great atmosphere, great people = YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME HERE

Had the chicken tacos and it was really good. Loved the salsa sauce and them perfectly sliced limes! >.< David and his team are excellent. Highly recommed DOWNTIME in Chapel Hill.

Got some veggie tacos that were absolutely amazing, it was light, flavorful, and for a great price! Being a vegan the nightlife can pose some challenges as to finding something decently healthy to eat. But not anymore!

Best place in town! It has everything you’re looking for including great drinks, GREAT food, great service/staff, and a great crowd. You won’t be disappointed! Make sure you eat here because the food is incredible!!

Downtime has kinda strange vibes, maybe it was just the night that I went. Many disconnected, what I presume to be birthday groups, but no real dancing fun. Maybe I will have to go back and my mind will be changed. But for now, this is how i feel.
