Restraint is open 24/7! Food is good and the service is friendly. If the outside venue is open make certain to enjoy the atmosphere or the current show.

Very nice place. For bar food we were shocked and what they offered and their out of the world prices. The drinks were also great. Jake was a great person the kept people entertained (and was cute) the other bartenders were also great customer service never got their name. They also have an outside bar area the looked nice. Also the security guy was a hoot with people made it feel very welcoming. Also the noise for a bar was very well maintained could have stayed for hour and not left with a headache.

Came in couple days ago to eat some breakfast and I asked for my eggs over easy and they came out scrambled like the cook didnt understand what over easy was but had to be made three times in order to be right. Then after having a conversation with a regular Customer they were telling me about a cook that works on the overnight name Ryan and he don’t understand why they don’t have him cooking during the day. He was telling me about how many people stop coming because they didn’t like the Mexicans cooking. Was fed up and waiting until 11 PM to eat and that’s just ridiculous if Ryan is such an awesome cook, you need to have him at your peak hours. Highly recommend not coming to eat unless Ryan is cooking your food Their response has me laughing, but ok they may cook well during certain times but let’s hope the rest of the cooks aren’t as rude as that Angel guy

Posted on Yelp- Always open, always cool, always great food! Prices are affordable and reasonable. Love coming home after a long shift at work, grabbing a burger and a drink. Ollys has maintained a great reputation for service and product. Love the live entertainment such as drag queens and performers on the weekends. Really close to downtown and all amenities. Love being back and supporting this place. Most challenging thing can be parking but it is off of Illinois so parking on street is ample and cheap.

I came in last night to enjoy a drink after a long day. While trying to enjoy my drink and relax i witnessed Victor the manager over react when he physically grabbed a customer trying to speak to the bartender about his food. This was VERY VERY unprofessional of a “ MANAGER “ …. to grab a customer the way he did. Very much was over stepping and was a mis-use of authority. AVOID OLLYS DOWNTOWN at all costs. Mainly the evening time. This place is ran very poorly. Never have I ever witnessed something like this. It is supposed to be a “ Welcoming “ environment but now I have to fear for my peace when trying to relax at one of my USED TO BE FAVORITE bars. As a regular it upset me to see that they have someone this unprofessional running the operations at this location. Manager was running through the bar yelling “ HES BANNED HES BANNED” in front of NUMEROUS guests. An unwarranted ban on a customer just trying to place an order at an overcrowded and understaffed bar. Personally being understaffed i’m not surprised the way “ management “ if that’s what you want to call them operate this establishment. As a current manager at my own Employment I would NEVER cause a scene like this if I had ANY time of altercation or conversation with a guest that had an issue.It would’ve stayed a 1/1 conversation instead of now grabbin the WHOLE bars attention over something so little? A simple conversation between the customer and manager would’ve been justified but the way that the MANAGER handled it I was more then BAFFLED. i’ll be making reviews and spreading the word to NUMEROUS olly’s regulars to not return due to this. After being a regular for 3+ years again NEVER EVER EVER have i EVER experienced such unprofessionalism, lack of proper training etc…. I was going to mind my business until I saw the manager “ VICTOR “ physically grab said customer. NEVER IS THIS ALLOWED ANYWHERE. Truthfully in Downtown Indy I was surprised he felt this was okay considering it could’ve went South very quickly and went a whole different way then it did. The customer was very calm , collected and patient with the manager even after being PHYSICALLY touched again which is NEVER OKAY? This was all on camera as well. The inside altercation from the manager , the scene he made yelling IN FRONT OF GUESTS INCLUDING MYSELF. Who wants to experience that in a “ welcoming happy environment “. I hope the camera footage is pulled because this is not okay in the slightest. I’ll be sure to spread the word for everyone to not attend ANY TYPE of event , promo , anything going on at Olly’s until they can get better management, learn how to properly train their staff “ management mainly “. The Poor bartenders just trying to make their money when you have managers coming in and effecting their tip or the money they could’ve possibly made due to over abusing their authority. Love my two favorite bartenders last night but Victor needs to be TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY. Ridiculous you can even run an establishment knowing you have MANAGERS physically touching customers instead of calmly speaking to them if they have an issue. Again 3+ years of spending hundreds of $$ here and they won’t ever get another penny out of me or any of my colleagues

I got some food, it wasn't very good at all. Order a sandwich and a side Caesar salad, did not get a side Caesar salad instead I got some lettuce with some diced tomatoes, diced cucumber and ranch dressing. The pesto sandwich had pesto flavor but no other flavor. Soggy bread. And like I said, it really lacked flavor. It also took something like a half hour to have it made, and there's barely anyone in there at the time. My friend got the fried mushrooms, they were soggy. She also got fish and chips and again, no flavor, soggy, I really think this place needs to revamp the menu and their cooking methods. They play too much on being a place for gay people, thinking that is going to carry them all the way through. No, you got to get your food on point! Edit: I totally forgot to mention that the bathroom they have is absolutely disgusting! And it's falling apart.

One of the good parts of moving back to Indy is I get to come to Olly’s. I came tonight and had my mouth set for the world famous chicken tenders and the bartendar suggested the daily special. Blackened Shrimp with creamy Orzo (I LOVE ORZO) and steamed broccoli. I tell you Olly’s never disappoints. It was delicious.

I order take out from here quite often & an item is always missing. It's really my fault cause why would I keep going back when I know they won't get it right. Foods decent though.
