Sat outside because it was a nice day but also because the inside had a heavy smell of smoke. Service and food was good. Usual bar menu with limited sides.

CHICKEN & DICKIN WING NIGHT East Haven Wing Review: Very memorable wings night would be an understatement. I’m struggling to put into words the texture, flavor and all-round wing experience. The service A+, the environment was friendly and welcoming. Good-ole’ small town bar feel. As far as the wings, bigger isn’t always better. Deep-fried, yes. Juicy, sure. Crispy, in areas. Wet, drowning. Large, definitely. Flavorful, without a doubt. I did not care for any of the wing sauces at all

Had the special - 1/2 rack of ribs with no sauce, cottage cheese and fries. Prepared very well and I love how they serve the food. The wait staff (which doesn't seem right to call them that, they are so much more) was attentive without being annoying. My plate was taken away promptly and they checked back often to make sure I was doing okay. They had live entertainment with Tom Koenig, always great to see him and hear not only great music but witty stories too.

Fried pickles were too salty, but the wings were perfect. Hot fresh and extra crispy! Best Gizzards ever!!!

I love their Chicken Gizzard Basket. I got mine with fries and cole slaw. Finished it with sweet tea. Large portions made good for a snack later.
