Heads up! Food is a separate restaurant just in case you are hungry. Eastern Palace is a wonderful island escape right in the heart of Hazel Park. The staff is amazing. They have some of the most fun drinks and even offer amazing non-alcoholic options. When you are here, you will have a good time. It must be the leis.

Walking in the door here I immediately felt like I had been transported back to when I had just gotten off a cruise ship in Key West! From the huge ocean screen, to the individual tiki huts set up indoors with couch loungers and island decor, this place is truly an island its own in the midst of a michigan winter! I legit felt like I was on vacation for the short time I was here. They have free play old school arcade games including Galaga, Ms. Pac-Man, Skee Ball, pinball and even a pool table. It’s mostly just a bar, but I actually came here for the bbq, which was under a different business name on google, so the only hiccup really was trying to find Blue Nile bbq which is actually inside the bar. The smoked bbq was my second favorite in Michigan, which is amazing btw because I’m super picky about my bbq. They had fall off the bone ribs and tasty brisket. The staff were all super chill and super friendly. We felt right at home and very welcome here. The weird part is, the name of the place does not match the vibe here. I have a feeling a change in name and some lights outdoors to highlight the Caribbean vibe with outdoor decor would bring a heavy crowd here. For now, however, this is another diamond in the rough!

Didn't eat anything here. Had drinks. Was instantly welcomed by gorgeous setting and colorful digital vibes and walked into what felt like an escape to paradise. Servers are attentive and wonderful, and sitting at a table and then the bar were both pleasant experiences. The place feels like you are Palm Beach or California and has so much to look at and enjoy. It's endless. The bathrooms we're clean and roomy. At the bar, they gave out Hazel Park postcards to write on, and they put them up around the bar. Fun! Really, there are just so many fun choices as per seating, outdoor area to chill, and indoors, laid out with cute separate areas, all with a different feel. Would definitely come back here again and again. Closed at 12 on a Friday night, 2 hours before what was listed on the Google information page. Be aware of this if you plan to bar hop or come in after 11. Wonderful place to come alone, with friends or in a group. Spacious.

It called the Smoked Lotus BBQ......This is one of the coolest places... It's making me want to go to the Caribbean... ...The bucket of Rum , Yes i said a bucket of Rum...was poured perfectly...(see pics) I had the brisket , Mac n cheese, collard Green..(had a little kick).. The potatoes were great.... I went and got 2nds. To take home.....Thank You Ashley for inviting me to L.J's ....36th birthday party..........Dustin is prefect management. Molly took great care of our whole party .......my only miss understanding was the separation of tickets. (Meal and drinks) Going to the window to order my food.... please explain it when people arrive . Other than that I have no complaints.....

The best hidden gem in Michigan!! The vibes are always immaculate, good drinks, great staff, great music and entertainment. We are so lucky to live so close to this amazing place!! Lotus BBQ is also unreal

I was yearning for brisket, Google sent me right here. The service was extremely professional, polite, clean, and fast. The food was delicious! Reminded me of my home; Texas. Get the "Trinity." You won't be disappointed at all.

Strong tiki drinks, tropical decor, delicious BBQ, and fun arcade games! This place has it all! The staff are extremely friendly and very passionate about what they do. Get the Rum Bucket, it has a delicious float of funky Rum Fire!
