Essential Massage

Started our anniversary trip with Essential Massage with Anna and Mia and they were so good that we ended our anniversary trip at their sister business A & A (same owners, but one in Grand Haven, and one in Holland) with Anna again and Ya-Ya for my husband. Honestly, both times we walked out saying these were the best massages we’ve ever had. Both massages with all three technicians were on point. They all found all of the tight spots, muscle knots, and gave tension relief that was so good we had to come back all in the same week. Prices are very good as well. I highly recommend Anna, Mia & Ya-Ya but I’m sure any one of them would be amazing. They did speak some English, but Andy, who is also one of the owners was great at communicating with calling us back and translating for us. I would recommend going in with a translation app on your phone so you can be sure to tell them exactly what you want and need. I will say I’m much preferred the Holland location (A & A) as it felt like there was more space and air, more open. I will end this review saying if I could give them 10 stars I would and we will definitely be back next time we travel to Grand Haven or Holland. Thanks for the best massage ever!

Good massage therapists. Downside, the gals don't speak English so it's hard to get our message across. Update: Every time I ask for 1 certain massage therapist when booking, she says OK OK. Then when I get there, she changes it to 1 of her other gals. Twice it happened to me. Sadly, I won't be going back. customer service & customer retention.

I had a 60-minute Swedish and deep tissue massage with Andy, and it was AMAZING! He checked in with me periodically, making sure I was comfortable with the pressure he was applying, and he made me feel very comfortable having him as a male masseuse. My other family members got a massage and said they were also terrific! I recommend Essential Massage to anyone looking for an exceptional massage.

I just left after a 60 minute, full body, deep tissue massage. Andy was AMAZING, he was very focused on my level of comfortability being that he was a male masseuse. I appreciated that greatly. He also offered a **free of charge** hot stone and facial massage at the end of our hour together! The total price was $88 AFTER my tip! These prices can’t be beat for the combined value and I am very excited to come back in October. This place left me feeling SO GOOD! Thank you!

Came in with some lower back issues and MASSIVE knots between my shoulder blades. They were able to work them out and as a disabled veteran It helps to get pain relief without having to take pain meds.

These guys are amazing!! I’ve been around town and I say they are the best 🙂 Andy did my massage and his was probably the best i’ve ever had. Very respectful and talented. Threw in hot rocks+towels and an extra 10 minutes for free. Definitely check him out:)
