Glad we stumbled upon this great place! Fair Witness is one of Winston-Salem’s best-kept secrets and absolutely worth a visit. The atmosphere is laid-back yet vibrant, with cozy lighting and great music that sets the perfect mood. It's a no-frills space, but with creative touches throughout making it feel special - and the same goes for their cocktails. The Bourbon Sunset? Seriously, GO GET IT. The servers are attentive and make sure you’re well taken care of, and honestly, I think Fair Witness might make the best cocktails I've had in the city. Fair Witness is hands down my go-to spot for a top-notch drink in Winston-Salem.

My husband and I stopped in for a drink. First timers for us here. While the bar area is a bit cramped to wait in line and order, the drinks were amazing. We sat inside in the side room as the outside seating was full. I love seeing recycled seating and the painted tables. Fun vibe. My drink was very refreshing - similar to a mojito. My husband’s was a twist on Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Great drinks in a wonderful, cozy, neighborhood atmosphere. I love finding places that feel really local and community-centric when I travel, and Fair Witness fits that description perfectly. There were always folks huddled around the fire pits in conversation whenever I walked by, and during my visit, it seemed like every seat at the bar was occupied by someone making a new friend. Even when they might not have all the ingredients for your desired cocktail, they go above and beyond to accommodate your taste buds. Plus, they don't mind if you want to capture the magic on camera while they craft your drink – a definite bonus! WHAT WE ORDERED: - House-made Vermouth on draft, a delightful fusion of grapefruit, lemon, orange peel, elderflower, chamomile, and vanilla bean - Juliet y Romeo: A minty cucumber gimlet with a twist! We add unpeeled cucumber for a hint of bitterness, a pinch of salt in the drink, and a spritz of rosewater for that extra touch of elegance - Spools of String: A Manhattan-inspired creation featuring muddled strawberries, a dash of Angostura bitters, nutty dry sherry, and Cocchi Americano infused with chai from Angelina's tea - Egg White Vodka Sour: A unique blend of lemon, egg white, vodka infused with blueberries for six months, Benedictine liqueur, a dash of black pepper, and a sprinkle of salt Cheers to great drinks and good times! A little off the beaten path of Winston, Fair Witness may be a welcome surprise to many people! It’s a very relaxed environment you can sit and talk with friends at. The bartenders are amazing to talk to as well. One gentlemen with long hair went above and beyond to cheer me up when I was feeling down! It goes to show you don’t need to be on Trade Street to be a hot spot. Whenever it gets crazy on the weekends and holidays, the staff are still attentive and fast paced. Fair Witness is my go to whenever I need a great drink after a long shift!

Fair Witness is my favorite bar in the world. The bartenders are all wonderful people who provide great service, drinks, and conversation. It’s the perfect place to go if you want to try something new and unique. Just go there it’s a sick spot

This has been my go to bar for years now. The staff is fun, cool, and kind. The cocktails/mocktails are the best in town. It is a cozy vibe in the winter, best bar on Halloween, and great time sitting outside during the Summer looking out onto Bailey Park.

This bar is amazing and has a good amount of people on a Saturday night and a really good vibe. The bartenders are conversational and will explain the menu to you. The bartender with braids is very nice and helpful. As well as the female bartender and barback !! All were helpful and nice as always
