If you are looking for a nice, relaxing and chill vibe this is it! I recently went for my anniversary with my wife and we really enjoyed it. The atmosphere of the bookstore is really pleasant. If you wanted to grab a drink or some coffee or munch on something the bar is there. The bartenders were really nice and served us pretty well. The charcuterie board presentation was really elegant and delicious especially pairing it with an IPA! This place is a really good idea for a chill date night. Especially if you are not looking for a loud and rowdy environment.

Large and spacious. So much seating. Perfect for studying, meeting with friends, working or just reading. I enjoyed a salted caramel iced latte which was ok... but the pretzel was so good! The in-house made cheese was yummy and the thin mustard was delicious! Cool spot in the bookstore...I could stay all day!

Good vibes pervade in this book store coffee shop. They serve a bit of everything so try something special. Got to listen to a 1st date next to us which was quite hilarious so enjoy the people watching. During a 2nd visit a poetry event of some sort was occurring. My lady wanted a London Fog and the staff member said it would take too long to make and they were too busy. We left and not sure when we'll be back.

Heard about this online somewhere and thought it was a cute idea - a book store and bar. Went to check it out and loved it. Very friendly staff with tons of recommendations across the store. Picked up a book from a recommendation from Joseph (called the Memory Police) and it is great thus far! All the recommendations have little blurbs with what the book is about and some personal stuff about how the employee felt, and I just loved that! My partner also picked up a recommended book and he's loving it too. Bar was nice and you don't even have to purchase stuff if you're sitting on the right side of the bar. Nice place to relax and test out stories. <3 They even had a (albeit very small) manga section. :) Oh my gosh, I also almost forgot! They have a back section where you can read and hang out with a ton of art all over the walls. The art is not only local artists, but you can buy them! Honestly too? They're very reasonably priced compared to most places I've seen that have local art hanging on the walls. Adored it!!

One of my very favorite places in the country, let alone Phoenix. Apart from the outstanding bookstore attached, this is the ideal spot to work, with lofi beats and perfect tables/chairs/outlets. Nearly everyone here seems to be making progress on something worthwhile (e.g., intellectual conversation, doctoral dissertations, intriguing books, etc.). On top of this, the selection of coffee/beer/wine is great, and their food is delicious. HIGHLY recommend!

Love this place! Very friendly space. I have been looking for a specific flavor of tea from my hometown and found something very similar here! I ordered a Jasmine tea with the house orange syrup and a bit of simple syrup. Very tasty, fragrant, and delightful. Feels like a warm hug Great service!

What a gem! A highlight from my trip to Phoenix. The setting is comfortable and modern, the staff was knowledge, fun and incredibly generous. I tried some delicious arizona wine (wow!) and also some delightful Californian wine on tap. The menu items all have literary names- covering many genres. I would say this is a MUST VISIT
