I loved my experience at Formation Sauna! It was so relaxing, and the entire vibe was perfect. The owner (I think she was the owner … not sure) was incredibly nice and went out of her way to make sure everyone felt comfortable and had the best experience possible. I can’t wait to go back

Initially I thought I had the wrong address because when I drove past the address, it didn’t look like a spa but after walking up their stairs, there is call button for the business. After pressing the button, the door is unlocked. The space is beautiful, serene, inviting, and smells good. The music and environment made me whisper automatically as to not disturb the energy of the space. I scheduled an appointment to spend time in the sauna and have a foot soak. It was right after completing a 10 mile race so I was looking forward to relaxing my muscles. The woman working at the front desk was very pleasant and available if we had questions. I should have notated her name to give her proper recognition. Myself and one of my girlfriends I brought along with me were assigned the sauna room for 2, two lockers to store our belongings; a robe, towel, and wash cloth. We were shown the changing room, shower, and toilet area available for our use during our session. The foot soak smelled wonderful. It was like my feet were in a large cup of tea and I love tea. 🙂 I plan to come back to try out a sound bath session and offered on specific dates.

We did the 90 minute private sauna and had an amazing time! We had our own sauna, as well as a shared lounge, shower, and cold plunge with the other private sauna. We were the only ones there, so we had everything to ourselves! The space is so relaxing and beautifully designed. Will definitely be back!

I was really disappointed with my experience here. I had an hour long massage session but barely any actually massaging took place. And the massaging that did happen was quite painful. She did a strange thing where she pinched the webs of my fingers, and it hurt quite a bit. She also was very careless with me, not gentle at all and made no effort to show care about my experience. She even left a clip in my hair after she was finished which was difficult to get out. She mostly attempted to stretch me, which is not the service I paid for. And most of the time was spent messing around with the covers and not actually massaging. I don't remember her name, but it was the white woman with two colors in her hair in her picture for the Venmo tip, she was the third one from the right in the picture line up. I regret giving her a tip. Then they bombard you with emails afterwards. Overall not a good experience. I would look for another salon before booking here.

Incredible! The owner was very welcoming. The decor and ambience was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. They tailor the massage to best suit your needs and I really appreciated that. Best sauna/wellness spot in the city.

Had an amazing time at the full moon sound bath! Would highly recommend. The instructor did an incredible job. The two hours honestly flew by, I was shocked! I want to go back to every sound bath meditation in the future!!

The space is very clean and peaceful. We had a great time in the sauna and the cold plunge felt rejuvenating. We will definitely go back to check out the other services offered!

As a personal trainer & bodybuilder, I've been very tense and tight as I get closer to my show. My coworkers gifted me with a gift certificate to Formation & honestly it was the best experience. Hillary is very professional and understanding. The staff is very welcoming.
