Fountain Inn Taproom

Stopped in as break from a road trip and was delighted at the food and the politeness of bartender. She was also the cook! I had a bacon cheeseburger and my wife had a Buffalo chicken flatbread. Excellent on both! The cheeseburger came with the usual toppings of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, ketchup, mayo and mustard. I would say it's about as close to homemade as can be. If you are in the Fountain Inn area, stop in and enjoy a delicious burger! If you like beer, they have 24 different flavors. I had another 2 and a half hour drive, so no beer for me PS...get this lady bartender a cook! She is excellent, but dang, not fair to make her cook too!

Our first night exploring Fountain Inn and we came across live music. We decided to have a drink and listen for a bit. Sonja, the bartender, was very attentive and explained the different options. It was a wonderful evening. We'll definitely return.

Poor bartender was left to drown by the owners and other coworkers working at the same time. Obviously a newer bartender and could’ve used some extra help and knowledge. Definitely not mad at her attempt but to watch bad customer service and laugh about it when it’s a business you own is pretty embarrassing.

We had lunch at Fountain Inn Taproom. We enjoyed our experience until we got home. To our surprise, one of the two growlers we purchased was busted open on the side, and all the beer was leaking through the bag and onto the floor of my vehicle. We spoke with the owner, and he said his growler bottles would have to be hit hard for them to break. The bottles were not left unattended and never hit anything hard. The owner does not stand by his product and would not refund any part of the purchase. He sold a faulty growler to us that ended up costing us over $30, including the bottle. So don't purchase their bottles if you want any of the beer from there. Because you may never get to enjoy it.

We used to love this place but has anyone else had a terrible time with food there recently? Service yesterday was appalling. Cold buns for burgers, everyone’s meals brought out at different times (first one was done eating before the last meal arrived), no chicken on the “chicken wrap” and we were made to feel like we needed to leave ASAP because the employees wanted to close and we were inconveniencing them. Definitely won’t be back anytime soon - definitely not for food.

Samantha had such an infectious smile. You can tell she really loves her job! Bonus points because they sell the Low Tide Blue Quencher. Best seltzer ever!!!

Monday nights you can catch Open Mic Night. Bring out your instrument and join in. Always a great evening. Great live music on the weekends, a very familiar place where everyone can be a local.

Jen was so sweet! We were there for music bingo and had a blast. Come on out, you won't be disappointed! Oh, and I had two #6 beers. Delish.
