Friends on Ponce

Had a blast here!!! Met some new friends and it got busy real quick. Will try to come back next year when I'm in town.

You could very easily have a terrible night here… that is possible…. Although, everything is possible… I walked up and had my bag checked (totally appropriate). Met the bartenders (4 on for a slow night)… it was karaoke and took a moment to get the speakers going (totally happens)… Front patio leads to the main spaces… you have a smoking area sectioned off in the front… back patio and a pool table…. Two restrooms with someone monitoring it (no powder room honey bee)….. this place is AMAZING…. Clientele ranges from local to Sexy to SEXY!! You can feel yourself without feeling on someone else.. Class without sass type of vibe… honestly I had the best experience out of every other bar within the inner city.. across the street from the best food scene in the city…………. As an outsider looking in… leave the ego at the door and enjoy the local vibe… Not a good place for They/Them (not capable to handle your vibe) not a good place for Midtown Millionaires (just why show up)…. It’s a small space with quality people…. Do yourself a favor and let yourself go….. everyone was MEGA friendly….. Although…… Although….. I’m a little biased… lots of sexy men making it work….. had the best time out of every local in the city….. hands down A+…… Will be returning and happy to be a part of the vibe

Friends is a good time but I had to leave this review for Brandon & Brandon ONLY! He's so dope! I came in both Friday night & last night and each time he helped me so much! He was monitoring bathroom lines and when I was about to go in last night the floors were wet and the toilet hadn't been flushed. He saw my face and offered to handle all that before I went. SUCH A GENTLEMAN !!! like seriously, I appreciated it so much I promised to leave him a review. So thank you so much Brandon!!! Your kindness is unmatched.

First time actually hanging all night here... It was an ultimate vibe . Great music and happy bartenders...

Friends is one of my favorite neighborhood spots to go to before or after the club. Great drink not to pricey and great atmosphere.

Cool place to come and grab a good adult beverage. Bartenders are friendly and down to earth. Nice LGBTQIA+ Community that's welcoming..

Friends on Ponce is a great place to experience a wonderful night in Midtown. Go alone you will be entertained. Go with people you like, you will have an exceptional time. Go with friends and you make a couple of new ones before you leave. Drinks are stiff, bartenders are fast, music is dictated by the crowd. Play pool and video games, play the people you're around. However if you play with "Friends on Ponce", you'll be playing together regularly! One of the most diverse bars I choose to frequently patronize because of the Wonderful times I've had every time I go. Mid day snacks are complimentary on certain days and Plenty of Fun on many different levels are awaiting you to enjoy! Don't forget poker nights on certain evenings as well. The LGBT community are the primary guests here but don't fret, breeders have an abundant amount of great times here as well.

All of the women that came and went were saying it was a waste of time and unsafe energy. Me and my female friend lasted less than ten minutes. A lot of men here with the energy of hate and disrespect towards women. We felt very unsafe and after a male customer twice my size yelled at me and my friend for trying to walk behind him, we left and I asked the bouncer for our money back and he refused. This is a very unsafe environment for women and if you are a woman I highly recommend you patron another bar. I really hope no woman gets harmed here.
