Passing thru town and saw a sign for this place as we love to support local. Saturday at 5:30 and only 4 other people in the place should’ve been our clue to run! Their specialties r craft cocktails w a nice menu. Menu lists an Old Fashioned at $10 or $13 w bourbon. I order the bourbon and he tells me that’s $18, but the menu says $13-the menu is not current but it’s really good and 2 ounces of bourbon. Hello, an Old Fashioned better have 2 ounces or it’s not an OF!!! I order a beer instead. Traveling all day so instead of going elsewhere we decide to order dinner(or 2nd clue to run). Menu shows house smoked BBQ but they’re out of ribs. OK, how about the tender, sliced, house smoked brisket. What shows up is this shaved, leathery, cooked to sh$t, some unknown type of beef. Bartender/server asks how is it and I say the same thing and he says Oh, and walks away. We get a to go box as my dog might eat it and find somewhere else to eat. We felt like we were in a B movie and if we really complained some weird dude would come running out of the kitchen with a butchers knife! To bad as the place looks very vintage and I can only imagine was cool and good at one time. Today, run, don’t walk to anywhere else!!!

Such a nice spot tucked into Raton. We were instantly greeted with a nice hello from the bartender when we opened the door. He poured my beer and got us a water quick. We ordered at the bar and sat outside. It had a great view with a nice breeze. The good was very good too. I had the green chille Philly with onion rings. My wife had their B.L.T. both sandwiches came quick and tasted great. I had their Oktoberfest and my wife had the Corny Apple cocktail. Both were good. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

This bar is such a charming unique place. The drinks are unique and delicious. The bartenders are soooo friendly and helpful. We loved sitting outside with a view of the mountains. Lots of incredibly friendly locals to chat with here, too. Bonus: they’re dog friendly outside! They brought our pup a bowl of water and we’re very nice.

Went here to support a local place, but the food sucked. I got the Ribs and it seemed they just reheated them by throwing them on a flame and burning the crap out of them. My buddy got the Philly and it was mostly soggy bread with some cheese. The soda was flat and on top of that they were out of a lot of items. I will say the beer I had was good, so if you're going there eat beforehand and then just have some drinks.

My kind of place in every detail. Part museum, part mountain lodge, and a bar that is all Western saloon. The kind and skilled staff make the place run as smooth as NASA and the owner is friendly and has created a fun and fabulous atmosphere. Their menu: Garlic Knots definitely reign supreme.

This place is absolutely amazing and we were so happy to find it on our road trip! 11/10 would recommend to anyone nearby. We had several cocktails which were all very delicious, and the bar staff was super talented and knowledgeable and made lots of great recommendations based on our preferences. The food we ordered was also yummy, and I have never seen such a giant pretzel in all my life! Definitely ask about the history of the building if you end up coming here - it is fascinating! 🙂

Craft “tequila” and amazing food, live music, guitars, video games … this place is great. Best part was Alex, our bartender! She was great!! Thank you New Mexico!
