You can’t beat Gene’s. With its long bar and floor to ceiling windows, between the pool table and the stage for live music, Gene’s has everything you want in the quintessential American bar. It’s perfect. I don’t dare say anything more.

This is my favorite bar in Bisbee. There's great lighting, it's clean and open and the vibe is light hearted, comfortable, and friendly. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the gulch. I went during the day and had a bodacious bearded bartender named Kenny. I asked if he could make me a margarita. He made some tequila suggestions and even let me sip some to try before he made the drink! I didn't end up liking them (I don't really do alcohol) and he offered to make me a virgin margarita. DUDE, it was amazing! He fresh squeezed lemons, limes, and an orange right there in front of me -- no funky mixers. He also made me laugh and was good to my girlfriends I was with. I just love coming here for that old school feeling of being welcome and amongst friends. Definitely go to Genes, and if you see Kenny, give him a high five!

The best whiskey drinks and grilled cheese sandwich ever! Decor to boot! Love it here! Vintage everything--makes you feel like you're going back in time. Great music, bands, and bartenders. Locals love it. Go here.

Excellent bar!!!! Delicious holiday cocktails & drinks made by & served by Dash! Was such an awesome way to end Christmas night 2023 with a couple of nightcaps. Great service from Dash who was wonderful to chat with! Enjoyed spending time in a relaxing new bar in Bisbee. Casual, friendly, fun and great drinks & service. Plan to stop in to Gene’s Place for a drink or two and yes a nightcap!

They made a grilled cheese sandwich with pickles baked into the bread by the owner. He wasn't there, but everyone deserves credit for how amazing the grilled cheese sandwich was. I gave Roy a piece, and he begrudgingly said 'it's ok.'

Walked down the hill from our hotel last night and to our delight we walked into Gene’s and were greeted w/ a live band playing Irish music. Love the place, drinks, atmosphere & music. It’s a hidden gem full of warm people
