I’ve been there twice, once for a drink and then for dinner the second time. I ordered the seared salmon. The presentation was exactly like the picture. Crispy on the outside and cooked to perfection as I requested, medium rare. It melted in my mouth, the portion was a fair size that filled me up. The service was friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the piano player, that played a variety of music from different eras. The decor is art deco inspired, I really liked the gold walls.I just hope they will get more B&B.

My party arrived around 7:55 for an 8:00 reservation, the table was not ready yet so we sat at the bar for roughly 20 minutes waiting for our table. We ordered a few drinks at the bar which were tasty. Once we were sat, we were promptly greeted by our wonderful waiter Jason. We placed our order, they were sold out of the short rib so I ordered the lamb instead. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks, and service gave us enough time in between courses for conversation, we did not feel rushed at all. The mushroom ravioli was a bit in need of seasoning and was watery, almost as if it was frozen and reheated. I only have 2 complaints. I was charged for both the short rib and the lamb and did not realize until after my card was run. However, once I brought this to the attention of our server it was promptly handled, voided and recharged. This is just an honest mistake that happens occasionally and I do not blame the server, just be sure to check your bills. The other complaint is the included gratuity. On the menu, it states that gratuity is included for parties over 6, which is the standard. However, once we received our checks (for a party of 4) it included a gratuity. I have no issues with including gratuity on the check because I know our service workers work hard for their money, but it does seem that the restaurant is attempting to trick patrons into tipping more by not divulging that gratuity is included in ALL parties, not just parties of 6 and more.

Gershwin's has a superb bourbon collection in stock. Including Weller Antinque, Weller 12 yr, Blantons Gold, EH Taylor single barrel, Old Forester 1924, & Old Fitzgerald, (and the list goes on). We had an impromptu guys night there & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We did a few bourbon flights to try different bourbons at a reasonable price & we also did some Old fashioneds along with food. I've recently transitioned to a plant based lifestyle & got the Vegen Meatlofe meal & let me just say that it was absolutely amazing to the vegans & to the non vegans. I didn't snap any pictures unfortunately. It's so good that I may go grab an order today. If I do I will snap a picture then. One of my brothers got the Lamb shank & that looked good & he said it was tender. The salmon had great reviews as well. The service was great & the bartenders did a great job informing us on the drink & food menu. My only personal gripe is that I'm not a fan of the piano style music, & would prefer a more upbeat vibe especially on a Friday night. However, for those that enjoy classical piano atmosphere you will love it. Either way, we had a great time here & I look forward to going back.

I made reservations here for my Wife's birthday and management accommodated every request. They placed the most beautiful pink requested roses on the table. There was a complimentary bottle of wine provided. I chose the place because of the Gatsby era and they had the waiters dressed up as such. They even had the pianist sing a personal Happy Birthday. I would definitely recommend this establishment for: Date night, anniversary, any intimate type setting or even by yourself for good food and chill atmosphere. Great atmosphere!!

Stopped in after an event at Norfolk Scope Arena. Everything about our visit was fantastic. We ordered their Buffalo Chicken dip and French Onion soup, definitely recommend. Katelin at the bar, was hands down absolutely FABULOUS! Super nice and attentive of everyone at the bar and never stopped moving!

We love live entertainment and great drinks that was definitely what we had. Charcuterie board was beautiful and tasted amazing . Also one of the best espresso martinis that I have had in the area. Will definitely return and recommend . Thank you.

Unfortunately I'd love to give this spot a better review but alas. We came in on a Sunday night prepared to have a full dining experience. Everything started off great, the cocktail and spirits list is exhaustive and the ambience is spectacular. Unfortunately it seems that there is a severe lack of oversight in the establishment. We ordered a Vesper and a Pisco Sour for our first round but the Pisco sour came with an additional fruit fly. The bartender apologized and remade the cocktail but this was only a portent of things to come. We then ordered the French onion soup (delicious) and the Caesar salad (sadly forgettable). Afterwards we decided on a petite filet with scallops cooked medium rare. After waiting 40 mins we received a well done 3oz charcoal briquette albeit with great grill marks and some lukewarm mashed potatoes, asparagus and some truly expertly cooked scallops. This was of course after we had been told twice that "the chef was plating our steak" twice. Really wanted to give a better rating but to have 4 staff members and no one check ticket times and temps is a little embarrassing. Very frustrating to also have gratuity included even after comping the entree. Perhaps Sunday nights aren't their forte.

They have A beautifully decorated dining room as you walk in, with a live pianist in tow. Narrow building but it's located downtown right in the heart so it's to be expected. Not a lot of seats but we were offered the bar. The layout of tables needs to be reworked it was an empty two top we could of sat at that we weren't offered. The bartender for the evening however was amazing and her suggestion to keep the glazed carrots with my beef short rib was superb.the short rib super tender as well as the carrots and the flavor was outstanding. Ate the entire plate. Downside to the menu is you cannot swap sides.
