Fun atmosphere and great bartenders! Always something going on; 8 ball & 9 ball pool tournaments, live music quite often, and when there's not, it's karaoke time! Lots of fun! They do use air purifiers to keep the cigarette smoke down.

Coming down from three days that it took me to ride across the mountains from somewhere near Bridgeport CA, I was sincerely beat , almost wanting to head back home. So thirsty, so dusty, I spotted you bar and it had a few Harleys parked in front. I walked in and it was like a movie. (This was right before Halloween of 2023. As I dusted myself off, I got a warm smile and the bartender poured me one. We didn’t talk that much but just sitting there after a hellish ride, I was content. Then someone talked about fish lake and that became my next stop. I hope I t to pass by your corner of the world again, I won’t be so shy, I’ll take pictures and by a round. To me you are the bar or saloon from wich I will judge all others.

My favorite bar. It's the only hometown bar in Hawthorne, NV. The BEST bar that anyone could ask for. Smoking ALLOWED! low cost drinks. .50$ pool tables, dart boards, shuffle board, real slot machines. Touch Tunes jukebox. wi-fi, Karaoke Sat night's @ 8. GREAT people and atmosphere. COME ON IN! OPEN @ NOON 7 DAYS A WEEK.

Old fashioned friendly small town bar that secretly yearns to be a honky tonk. Gil let me play some country western music on my pedal steel guitar at their spring birthday bash with the local music talent...so yeah; they got music!

Watch your money at Gil’s! I went to Gil’s Bar back in March, 2022. I had a great time - great people. I had so much fun I decided to order a Gil’s hoodie and a couple t-shirts. I filled out an order form and handed it along with $70.00 to Garrett the bartender to place my order. After nine months of promises from Sara at the bar, I still have not received my order or my money back. Now they are ignoring me.
