Glitter Karaoke

Glitter is a loud and fun. The bartender was a nice dude, but the prices for the drinks are a bit high for what you get. The food is all common bar food and its actually pretty good. Get the wings Karaoke is fun and the bathrooms are clean enough. Parking is a pain, so I recommend a ride-share.

Went here last night for my BFF's birthday party and it was nice. We'll be back for a different atmosphere bcus it was packed and the bartender was simply just ok. Service was slow, but wings was poppin

Good karaoke bar, but the DJ definitely does not call people in the order they sign up for songs. You will be placed at the end of the line behind 30-40 people that signed up after you for no apparent reason. Just be okay w that and you’ll have a good time.

NYPD here. I hate myself but I love this place. They gave me the best wings at 11:30PM tonight. Karaoke is great, and the wings are immaculate. The hookah slaps as well. The bartenders Rachel and Joe were so sweet. I love karaoke!!!

We had an awesome time!! The staff super friendly. The DJ ready to party. We arrived around 9ish, it was a little slow, but the DJ started the party. We were able to get a table quickly and order some food and drinks just in time for the Karaoke to start. The private rooms looked great and we will definitely be hosting a party there soon!!

The people who come here are what make this an awesome place to check out if you're in Midtown. People definitely come here to have fun and the energy is always positive. Lots of reviews complain about the blonde bartender; They are just brats that expect a bartender to have clear hearing over all the singing and music. They may also have never heard of RBF or just don't like other females. I personally think she is amazing and find her RBF to be comforting! She makes amazing drinks and doesn't make you wait a grip to be served. Bald+Tatted bartender was mediocre in comparison, no shade. There was also a girl who regularly made her way around the seating to clear tables and make sure everyone was okay. Nice touch there for Customer service. My only complaint rests in the DJ. First and foremost, he does a good job at playing filler music that gets the place poppin for a while. That is very much appreciated. As a KJ though.... Aww man... I am a former KJ, so I understand the in&outs of the business... While he gets people up on stage consistently enough to keep the show going without it feeling stagnant, his lineup choices clearly are based on favorability. I arrived when they opened, purchased my two drinks required to be even able to sing and submitted my one song at 9pm. I did not sing until a bit past 1am, and that was at the behest of someone else going and asking him about my entry (I did not do it on my own accord, not did I recommend this action, because I believe KJs are in control of how the show moves) When I finally made my way to the stage, the volume was mixed improperly (something I noticed happens with people he doesn't favor, regulars I supposed) and he picked a shortened version of my selected song. So basically I didn't get to finish. The crowd even realized this and was in favor of me finishing Acapella, which I continued to do (very nicely done, I might add) only for him to cut my mic off and chastise me with disrespectful language, telling me to GTFO. I never mentioned it was my birthday, and I was very excited to make this the first place in Houston that I sang Karaoke. It left such a bad taste in my mouth and a willingness to find a new location to have fun at. TL;DR: Come for the food & some drinks, stay for the vibes. If singing is your passion, maybe scout out some other locations in another part of town.

Disappointed. Customer service was trash… gratuity was included at 20% of course. The DJ didn’t even play the song in order of who put them in. I literally asked him what the order was and he “what ever I feel like baby” we waited 2.5 hour just for our Karaoke song to play. Never again. The bartenders were super harsh and rude as well so impatient and not good at customer service. Oh well.
