Green Room

If you’re looking for a speakeasy ambiance with good drinks then come to the Green Room. Drinks: My friend and I thought the drinks were well made as I have been to many speakeasy’s before in many states. The Tiger Lily and Pisco Sour were both delicious and had just the right amount of flavor without being overpowering. Atmosphere: This is a speakeasy vibe with bar space and plenty of tables to sit at. The lighting is dim and the place becomes alive as it gets later into the night. Price: The prices here are fairly normal and it’s worth it for the speakeasy vibe. Parking: There is street parking available in the area or a garage nearby.

Beautiful little cocktail bar. I spoke with our bartender and told him what I like in a cocktail. He suggested a Steel Roller which I had never had before. It was excellent. The atmosphere was also super. Excellent cheese plate too.

I very rarely give 5 stars across the board but this place was impressive: there was a good mix of classic and innovative cocktails, each were delicious and exceptionally balanced. The atmosphere was elegant and cozy with lots of thoughtful touches. Truly an upscale Brooklyn vibe.

Came in with a few friends and drinks were great. Bartenders were very friendly and helped me find the perfect cocktail. Would’ve liked to see a menu beforehand but online info is minimal since they just opened again recently. Interesting choice of uniforms, it was 100 degrees when we came in and they were wearing buttons downs. Overall, great experience, can’t wait to visit again and try some more fun drinks! Happy to have the green room back.

Everything about the new Green Room (now independently operated) is perfection. It’s truly the bar Northampton deserves. Next level craft cocktails, speakeasy atmosphere, hand cut ice, and exceptional service. We had the Trident and a Daiquiri which were both amazing. If you’re in the area and looking for a cute date night, a nook to read and drink, or a place to celebrate with friends this is the spot to check out. They also have non-alcoholic and mocktail options which I appreciate.

Amazing bar. We live in the Boston area and have frequented many bars and speakeasy’s all around NYC, Boston, SF, and our favorite place is by far the Green Room in Northampton! So happy this place has reopened - and it is even better than before. Tried many drinks on the menu and even some off-menu — all incredible, fair pricing, incredible service. Can’t wait to return.

While visiting town for a wedding, I was at another establishment that referred me to The Green Room saying it was a 'prohibition style speakeasy' and a 'whisky bar.' Once I arrived, I struggled to find the connection between The Green Room and any speakeasy I've been to. The door is well marked on a side street, the walls are straight painted drywall, and the décor, nothing prohibition style. It was nice and welcoming, but not what i expected. The bar... they did have a fairly good whisky menu. In addition, the bartenders were friendly to talk to and we're willing to chat a little and come up with a creative, crafty cocktail to suite the occasion. Although not prohibition or speakeasy in my book, this was still a great place for a cocktail that anyone reading this should checkout!

I've been to the green room a few times now and it's always been an amazing experience. The drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is classy and welcoming. Most recently my bartender was Kyle and he was fantastic--very knowledgeable and exceedingly charming!
