Green Top Tavern

It’s a dive bar, with average food at inflated prices. I don’t fault them for the prices because the entire price structure is still reflecting COVID. Nothing wrong with the food, either. It’s just your basic dive bar stuff. Same goes for the service and atmosphere. If you’re looking for a dive bar, this place works just fine.

Stopped in to try the place out. We each had a shot of White tea and it was so disgusting we paid and left. We actually went to another restaurant just to eat and drink something that didn't make us feel sick. You have to walk all the way around into the alley to get in because they won't let you in the front door.

A bar in heart of downtown kalamazoo and a baby brother of Louis trophy house. This place is no fuss or frills kind of place. Cheap beer and cocktails throughout the year and warm atmosphere always. If we need to celebrate something this is where we usually start and head to other places. Over the years this place has been a part of bar crawl. They do have pool and bar games.

(2019) Have only lived here since August and Green Top has become our Cheers! Exceptional weekly specials and awesome staff that we've quickly made friends with (as well as a few other patrons too). Happy to be regulars here!

Great local place, chill vibes, great food, happy happy!

The menu at the Green Top Tavern featured a variety of delicious food and drink options. The bar offered an extensive selection of beers, cocktails, and spirits to suit every taste. The food, while simple and satisfying, exceeded our expectations. From the juicy burgers to the crispy fries, every bite was a delight. The attentive and efficient waitstaff ensured that our orders were promptly taken and delivered with a smile. The only reason I did not give a full 5-star rating is that the tavern did get a bit crowded as the night progressed, which made it slightly challenging to find seating. However, this did not significantly detract from our overall enjoyment of the evening. In conclusion, our night at the Green Top Tavern was truly amazing. It provided the perfect setting for reconnecting with old friends, sharing laughter, and creating new memories. The inviting atmosphere and tasty food and drinks made it an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a place to have a great time with friends, the Green Top Tavern is definitely worth a visit

Downtown Cubbys Bar ⚾ 20 ounce Old Style Cubbies $3.50. Great feeling in this tavern. Not just bar menu it has salads , fish tacos and best Chili dog basket in Kalamazoo thanks to Chef Jillian & Mondays after 6 all food 1/2 off. From Randy the owner to Jake the bartender and Captain Phil of league they most efficient, friendly staff in town. Specials everyday and of course darts, pool and sports. Go Lions, Tigers. It was our first visit, and the food lived up to what we've been told, DELICIOUS! We each had a burger. I had fries that came crispy upon my request, and my husband had crispy tater tots. The beer was cold, served in a cold glass, too.
