Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I went in with pain in my neck shoulder and trap. My arm would go numb at times ...just a real nagging pain. Jenny treated me for 4 weeks , used CBD I bought there ...well I have total relief ...more and more weekly. I feel much better with no pain today!! It takes a commitment..I got every week and will slowly wean off two two or 3 weeks depending how I feel. Important thing I learned is you have to trust your Masseuse, go as often as suggested or how you feel.

I've been going to LaVida in Rochester for several years. Johnny is the massage therapist I go to most of the time. He is very conscientious about determining where he needs to focus each time. I'm amazed at how he seems to find the root of a lot of my issues which often originate in other areas. It's refreshing to work with someone who is so personally invested in helping the client feel the best they can. I've needed massage therapy for over a decade and Johnny is hands down the best massage therapist I've worked with. Since my issues are chronic they're much more difficult to treat, yet Johnny always has an upbeat, can do, attitude about doing the best he can! The whole team at LaVida in Rochester is a pleasure to work with when scheduling appointments, having to make changes, etc. When Johnny is on vacation, etc. LaVida is always awesome to work with to get an appointment with another therapist who has a similar technique to Johnny. I've never been disappointed with the alternative therapists, like Vanessa, who they've recommended. There are a lot of places which offer massage therapy closer to where I live. But the results I get with Johnny and the great attitude of the staff make the 30 minutes plus drive each way an easy choice! Thanks Johnny and the LaVida Rochester team! Doug M.

I have never walked away from 1 massage session where my shoulders were completely relaxed. I immediately noticed the difference when I left. Vanessa was amazing and listened to what I needed for her to focus on and she did such an amazing job! I finally found the right massage therapist for my needs! Highly highly recommend Vanessa!

Katie was great and listened to exactly what I needed. I had done 8 yards of mulch and was so sore. She helped me tremendously.

Love Lavida. It’s reasonable for a massage and I always feel better and improved after going. Vanessa and Johnny are my favorites (I haven’t tried anyone else but I’m sure everyone here is awesome) and they ensure you are well taken care of and resolve any issues or pain you are having

I booked myself a prenatal massage to treat myself, haven’t had a massage in probably 10 years. I have been getting terrible sleep because I have to sleep on my side and I HATE sleeping on my side. It does not feel good on my shoulders or back. I called this location to see if they had a prenatal massage table (one with an indent for belly so you can be lying face down). They said yes! So later that day I booked my prenatal massage online. The day I came in for my appointment they informed me that there was another prenatal massage going on and the table is being used, so they’ll have to adjust for my massage. Not really knowing what that meant I went ahead. The masseuse guided me to the room and then informed me that I would be receiving a massage while lying on my side and propped by pillows. I was severely disappointed but proceeded because I know with massage appointments, hair appointments, etc they don’t get paid and can’t refill the appointment slot. It was pretty uncomfortable and the other side of my body didn’t really get done as I wasn’t told to flip over or anything. I just really wish they wouldn’t have double booked the massage table or at least called me before my appointment and given me the heads up of the scenario so I could reschedule. I did try to call and discuss my disappointment after my appointment and I filled out the survey, which said someone would call to discuss. Nothing. *Editing here because it doesn’t let me respond to the “owner comment”. Absolutely no one tried to call me. If they did, no voicemail was left and no one returns unknown phone calls without a voicemail explaining who they are.

Sarah by far is the best masseuse I’ve ever been too. Highly recommend her! Very friendly staff as welll ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
