Hand in Glove

Stopped by for drinks with my wife. The place is small but there you can have a good experience here. They asked me what I wanted once we found a spot and made the drink immediately. The drinks were good as my wife got the espresso martini and I got the margarita. There’s a pizza place right next to it and nice outdoor seating place out the back as well.

We stopped in on a recommendation from another business owner and we were pleasantly surprised. It is a small place, but big personality. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable about their drinks. I also found out that the John Chester Ross Whiskey is their own whiskey. I have seen it around town but never tried it. It was very good. I tried batch 1 and 2 and understand batch 3 comes out later this year. If you are in Lee's Summit this is a definite must stop. They have everything from great whiskey selections, fancy cocktails and even boozy coffee.

We don't find ourselves in Lee's Summit very often, but when we do, a stop at Hand in Glove is always a must. Their rotating menu of creative cocktails is one of the best in the metro area, and the space itself is awesome. An absolutely massive whiskey selection fills up a solid chunk of their back wall, while cozy seating is illuminated by an insanely cool light fixture. The staff is always friendly and while the cocktails certainly feel fancy, there's a notable lack of pretension. It's a welcoming spot where they would gladly help anyone find a cocktail that's up their alley. We have yet to try to coffee side of things here, but I feel confident the experience is just as wonderful. We will be back, over and over again!

Update: 4/2023 Russ - you ARE the man! If you want the best hot drinks (and cup of ice water ) look no further than here. I had tried the spicy chai latte at another close establishment & ended up tossing it. Came right over here & got my fix!! From the friendly relationship between customer & baristas to the fun atmosphere of this spot. It all gives A+ all around, hands down!!! Go try something! You won’t be disappointed!! Happy drinking! The best hands down, spiced chai latte! Even better with the twist to it. Check them out along with their sweet breakfast treats!!!

This is their current menu. Ended up getting the espresso martini. Looks and tasted pretty good. Ended up getting a second one. 5/5 would recommend to others. Seating is a bit smaller for a bigger guy. Still had a great time.

This is a lovely hidden gem in downtown Lee’s Summit for drinks. The bartenders are nice and quick to help. I tried a burnt sugar latte, which was delicious, and the full drink menu looks pretty interesting. Will definitely plan on coming back here again. Hand in Glove also did a nice job with the decor. While it’s a small space, there are still a couple little nooks to provide a sense of privacy.

Adorable bar and coffee shop nestled in downtown Lee's Summit. Their specialties are their alcoholic coffee drinks which are extremely reasonably priced. Outside of that. though. they have a TRULY impressive floor-to-ceiling gigantic wall of different alcohols. Lots of interesting and rare stuff - if you're looking for a taste of an old bottle, they very well may have it. My friend and I did a Game of Thrones scotch tasting here and it was fantastic. Cute private booth seating, few spots at the bar, and a couple bar height tables outside when it's nice but seating is definitely limited. Cute white luxe aesthetic to this place.

Chai! Chai! Chai! If you love Chai, especially with a kick, try it here!! Everything I've tried here has been amazing! The customer service is awesome! Went in for a Sunday morning coffee and got the Irish Salted Caramel latte. It was heavy on the Irish, lol. Was great! Enjoyed cocktails here while Octoberfest was going on. This was a great way to spend some time today.
