Quiet Speakeasy Vibes Spent a weekend in Baton Rouge and decided to check this place out. We did not try or ask for food as we had dinner plans already. But the service was awesome! Sadly our bartender was moving on to another career but I will be back for sure. On the interior, you will find PLENTY of seating with chairs and couches to create little pockets of relax zones. There was even a back parlor for additional seating out of the main space. Dimly lit but not dark really gives that speakeasy vibe We tried the Champagne Cocktail and a French 75 to start. I have never tried a CC, but it’s essentially bitters, brandy, sugar cube and topped with champagne. Very fresh and I love a bubble ! To close out, we got an Old Fashioned and a Dirty Martini

In search of a unique spot in Baton Rouge to enjoy music and libations, you can not pass up Hayride Scandal. Not much to do here in BRLA, but this was a very pleasant surprise. Well stocked bar and creative engineers of libations. Brian is excellent and open to experiment with his craft. I challenged him 3 times and he was more than willing to rise to the occasion and show off his apothecaries skills with libations both dark and light. Met some new friends that evening and we enjoyed conversations over drinks for two hours. Atmosphere, decor, and excellent service were the highlight of our visit in Baton Rouge. This will definitely become our go to spot when we return.

Met a friend there…she insisted I check with his place out because I would love the aesthetic. Let me say, she was right! Stopped in and sat at bar. What a cozy place. Great atmosphere, along with festively done right and tastefully. We chatted at the bar, with a delicious Old Fashion. Had some of the Happy Hour gumbo, which was actually pretty great, too. Loved our bar tender, as well. Not bad for a quick stop for a drink. If I’m ever in town again, this is a definite stop for me

I went here on a Wednesday night on a date and it was such a cozy and nostalgic experience. The drink selection is amazing as well as the jazz music that carries along in your background. I’m definitely going to be back here sooner than soon.

This place has phenomenal aesthetic and cozy corners! Great place to grab a drink and linger over conversation. The lighting is moody. There’s many seating areas that you can socialize or find an intimate spot. The one downside is that it’s drinks only. Bar bites would be a great addition.

Great vibe, atmosphere, and friendly bartender staff! Happy hour drink prices until 7pm. Thursday has live jazz music 7:30p-10:30p. These bartenders are very experienced and know what they’re doing. No dinner options (sometimes charcuterie board). Great place for drinks and music! A hidden gem!

An absolute gem! The cocktail list is large and has something for everyone. Atmosphere is dark and moody. Bartenders have always been really friendly.

This is hands down the best bar in BATON ROUGE. Cocktails are amazing, great beer selection. Alyssa, Andre, Charlie, Nick, and Brian are awesome. The best of all is Rachel, I have never had a Negroni as good as the one she made me. I compare every one I drink to it. But, I do wish they had coors light……
