Hops/Scotch

We booked the downstairs area at Hops/Scotch for our wedding afterparty and it was incredible! The space is really large, so everyone was comfortable and able to have conversations without issue. The drinks were great, the bartenders were quick and professional, and the music was easy to hear but not overpowering. We were able to supply our own playlist and have a tab for our guests, which made the whole experience so smooth and easy for everyone involved. Our point of contact was Christian, who was so kind and communicative all throughout the process. Totally recommend this space for a casual drink or a private event!

Ladies beware!!! My daughter brought friends here from out of town to this establishment last night, and they were treated so poorly intimidated and harassed by a bouncer thinking they had a fake ID , bouncer was impersonating the Bucks County sheriff. I suggest to the owner that you train your staff on what a New Jersey license looks like!! I will make sure I tell everybody I know about how they were intimidated and faced bias as young women by a giant bouncer and overzealous bartender…..Oh and this was 8 pm and they were the only people in the establishment. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well as the Bucks County sheriff department to report that the bouncer at hopscotch is acting like he is the sheriff Or has affiliation with the sheriffs department !! To the bar staff maybe learn some customer service skills . If you’re looking for a nice place to go, have a drink after dinner try someplace in New Hope. Steer clear of this place if you’re a young woman!!!

Nice place. Didn't have food. The bartender was very nice. Unfortunately, 2 out of the 3 drinks we didn't care for. Maybe it just wasn't for our taste buds.

Enjoy fancy freakin cocktails and atmosphere? Go here! Expertly crafted drinks, local craft beers (Moss Mill!) and a unique tapas and pizza menu that is sure to meet anyone’s appetite (fancy quesadilla, grilled cheese, and slider flights, anyone?).

Excellent for lunch. This was my first time there, and I'll definitely return. Had the salmon sandwich and crab soup. Excellent!

Excited to go back! We stopped in during a podcast night which was just fun and different. Drinks were top notch!

We had a fabulous time here today! I was very confused at first entering the marketplace and saw the pizza place and the PA Soup & Seafood etc, (thought Hops/Scotch was a restaurant) sat down at Hops/Scotch and the most fabulous server ever-Christian-explained to us that they serve cocktails/beer but they can order food from anywhere in the marketplace. I had the pizza (fabulous) my mom LOVED LOVED LOVED her salmon sandwich and soup and my sister had a great burger. I loved my cocktail Half Shaft/Half Superman ? I think that's what it's called...had 2 so I'm not sure! All the staff there was great, will most definitely be back!!! Thanks for a great night!

A great bar with attentive service and great drinks. Only complaint is the noise level. Saturday evening (around 6pm) the sound level at the main bar was deafening - no band or live music, just people talking and some background music! You will lose your voice after a short time of talking at a volume that can be heard by someone sitting right next to you. Fix this, and five stars.
