HotBox Mobile Sauna

What a blessing this place is. Had the pleasure of spending a session in the hot box this past weekend, and it was absolute bliss. As a sauna nerd of the highest order, I fully recommend this experience and will definitely be back ♥️ A gorgeous wood burning sauna nestled on north Brooklyn Farms with a dreamy private view if the Manhattan waterfront... Still floating from this session! The sweet intention the owners put into this space is so evident- do yourself a favor and book a session!

We visited this weekend in Roscoe for our annual ladies weekend and it was dreeeeamy! The team took such good care of us, kept the sauna piping hot, made us a fire and gave us yummy local treats. An afternoon to remember!

This has been one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve had in Brooklyn. Everything within this experience was impeccable, the sauna itself is so zen and beautifully built, it’s super clean and equipped with towels, robes and they even have handmade sauna hats for purchase. The hosts are extremely friendly, generous and kind. They are super attentive and made sure my experience is enjoyable. They came often to check on the wood, the temperature was just perfect to push all those toxins out of my system, they poured water on the hot sauna stones which was infused with Birch oil to relax the muscles and give it an aromatherapy feel. I enjoyed plunging under the cold water shower that’s installed outside the sauna every so often. I truly left feeling lighter, calmer and rejuvenated. Highly recommend this spot over any spa.

I check their site all the time to see where HotBox is stationed! I love going for a shvitz, but also for the overall warm, cozy experience. You can tell the owners choose sites that offer a little something extra -- a beautiful riverfront view, outdoor fireplaces, live music, tasty food, etc. And I really appreciate the welcoming, friendly vibes (something I rarely get from a run-of-the-mill spa sauna). Highly recommended!

Almost don’t want to write this review to keep this gem all for myself. What a genius concept. Great facility, laid back plan, wonderful hosts. Everything about this experience makes me sad I haven’t been doing it every week since I moved to Brooklyn

This is one of the most brilliant concepts I’ve ever heard of.... A portable sauna that gives you a quiet place to hang with friends when you’re in the middle of a loud dance night.. I love having it there when I want to get off the dance floor and talk to my friends for a little bit.. I’m already sweaty from dancing, so why not strip down to a towel, and hang out in a hotbox and give my ears a break from the speakers? When my break is over, I head to the dance floor again which feels a cool refreshing breeze after being in the sauna for 20 min.. It’s seriously one of the most creative and practical additions to a fun dance night.. I’m at the point where I don’t want to go to clubs that don’t have one.. Just try it once and you’ll see what i mean!

And adorable, peaceful and cozy sauna. Unlike other saunas I've been in , this one has windows, so it felt open while enclosed. It's one of a kind.
