Cool bar. The bartenders are nice. I enjoy going to Irish Music Night there on Wednesday nights. The atmosphere in the evenings is good. I hope Hounds Rest is able to get Riggs Hefeweizen back on tap. Good bar to visit in Champaign.

Great beer selection! I have discovered some of my favorite beers here. They come from far and wide, not just in town. Blind Pig's brews are really good quality, too. The place is super vintage but taken very good care of. It's usually busy during normal bar hours, but I just visited during a weekday happy hour, and it was really quiet and nice!

Edited my review. Note: most of these reviews (any older than a year are for the blind big which was a different owner) upon changing of owner and name the bar has gotten rid of all they're knowledgeable staff hiring nothing but eye candy servers who can't even make a simple old fashioned. That being said the bar has also increased they're prices by over 40 percent making them one of if not the most expensive bar in the area. They have 8 dollar beers that at other bars would be 4-6. Any given night you'd be lucky to find maybe 4-5 people in the bar max. Also on Fridays they have a loud obnoxious DJ that plays music but nobody seems to ever come there.. in short limited drink knowledge and prohibitively expensive for most people.

Great place with lots of beers on tap. Outdoor seating was nice. Wish they had a few more food options but can't be helped for a brewery.

I came in a few months ago with a couple of friends, Craig was super nice and accommodating. When I came in a few nights ago as well, he remembered me and had crafted my preferred drink when it wasn’t common, I’m super impressed by his service and cocktail creations. Absolutely would recommend, such a nice environment with wonderful bartenders.

Would have loved to have enjoyed part of our evening here. It's a lovely venue. Except there was no service. We walked in, seated ourselves....there was one other customer sitting at the bar (it was late afternoon). One employee behind the bar. We were never acknowledged. No greeting, no head-nod, no "I'll be with you in just a minute"....nothing. He stood behind the bar looking at his phone. We left.

Great spot! The selection of beers is the best in town and the prices are very reasonable. We personally prefer the "small" blind pig to the big one because of the happy hour (half price beers!). The clientele is very loyal so you'll probably recognize a few faces every time you go. Great service and the ambiance of the place is cool. Fun fact: you can buy their beer glasses for $5 (we bought 6 because of the great memories we have there).

Cheap drinks! Got 2 cocktails for $10 before tip. Good taste for a $5 and they packed a punch. Pretty diverse crowd between students and locals.
