HUSH

My second time at Hush! This time it was a much different experience, probably because we came after midnight. There was $10 cover at the door. They have nice coat check in area. There are two floors, a bar in each floor. First floor is pretty basic. The restrooms are all gender and an attendee supervises guests going in and out. Much needed service for keeping the area functional. Second floor is where the main party is. There are multiple performers, DJ is amazing, crazy good songs. The bar on second floor is smaller but good enough to serve the needs of the guests. They have tables and benches available that is used a lot by the guests. Overall it was a nice clubbing experience and would be happy to be back next time.

Hush has a little bit of everything for everyone it’s a very diverse space from Latin nights to spicy nights .. the bartenders are HOT and the bar back Domingo will have you drooling! They also have Dancers. The drink prices are normal compared to other NYC Bars , you get what you pay for .. strong drinks and hot staff!

Richie not only provides great drinks but always gives a ten out of ten experience. His section on a Thursday night is like no other bartender. On Wednesday night he has a Latin crowd with great music on the main floor. Always a great time when at hush!

Amazing place with hot bartenders. Best in the city. Pedro the tall handsome bartender serves the best drinks and is quick with a smile. Get parties on Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. Fun people great music and a lot of sexy ass men. Best club in the city

This place has the WORSE costume service ever. This is not the only time I have been here. I triied to give it a second chance to this place but honestly i Will never come Back. The bertenders on the second floor on Saturday are EXTREMELY AWFUL. They act like they are doing a favor to you and being someone that works at the service industry too I would never treat a costumer like that. DEFINITELY THE WORSE PLACE TO GO TO IN NYC. Okay! Another thing. Going to a club and being threaten by the security to get me outside just for me asking why he was screaming at my friend and he turned to me calling me names and say: I will wait you outside. THATS NOT ACCEPTABLE! I have been in a lot of clubs in NYC and non of them treated me like that for no reason. I never had a problem at anywhere. It hurts my heart having to write this review because I always want to support a LGBTQ+ business but for the main reason of being so disrespected by this business employees I had no other choice but write this and also tell the owners to teach their people costumer service.

On Friday, 7/26 at 10:30PM; there were two security staff outside: one male to check IDs, and a woman to check bags. The man let us in after showing our ID, and the woman was going to check our bags. I disclosed to her that I was in possession of pepper spray in my bag; and I gave it to her to let her know that she should take it to hold onto until I leave the premises. This was protocol and was what I was told was protocol by security staff the past times that I had been to Hush. She said to me “No, I’m not giving this back” and shook her head when I responded. I went into Hush, but shortly left after as I felt uncomfortable with not being able to receive my spray back. As a LGBT club, there should be an understanding that we are a marginalized group and there is always a risk of facing discrimination/crime by those who are not accepting. After a couple of minutes, I left Hush as I felt uncomfortable at not being able to receive my form of self-protection back. The man who checked the IDs expressed his apologies and asked the woman to give my pepper spray back. He was very empathetic and understood why I was bothered by the situation. The woman did end up giving the pepper spray back, but it was very disappointing that the woman said that she would not give back the pepper spray when we departed and that I disclosed it to her that I understood that it was for the safety of the area. I will not be going back in fear of such a situation happening again, even though I went to Hush multiple times prior to this incident.
