Julia Howell is an incredible massage therapist: my work with her has been utterly transformative, and allowed me to release so much trauma. If you are struggling with PTSD and searching for a massage therapist who’s more than just clinical, who infuses her work with empathy and a deep understanding for the human condition (and dare I say even the energetic/numinous?) then look no further than Julia! My partner and I get massages here every week, and we love the environment and the staff. We needed this place SO BAD and are so so glad we found it!

My wife and I recently visited In Sync as part of our tiny getaway. Having 4 kids can leave little time for us. When we arrived, everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. We got a couples massage and it was outstanding!!! Extremely reasonably priced as well. Felt like I had years of tension relieved. Special shout out to Sue my massage therapist. She was friendly, excellent conversationalist, and kept me informed of the techniques she was applying. Definitely will be back next time we are in Carbondale.

In Sync has been a wonderful place to receive massage and spa services. I love that the therapists are diverse in their offerings and the staff is always welcoming and friendly. It is also nice that the salon offers a variety of chemical free services and a cleaner technology hair coloring, with organic products. Such a gem for Carbondale and Southern Illinois!

Angela and the staff at In Sync have always been very helpful and welcoming. The courtesy calls before my appointments are a nice touch. Angela is environmentally conscious and believes in her products. Rightfully so. I have never been disappointed in her services or advice and will remain her client as long as she will have me!

Whether it's a facial, massage, spa service, yoga class or other offering,, each person working here knows their craft well. Welcoming, well-informed, community-oriented,, & heart-centered are words I would use to describe these two local & woman-owned businesses. Bravo for 25 years & more serving Southern Illinois!

Some of the best massage work I've ever received!! Love that they're set up for the ashiatsu -- that's the style where the therapist walks on your back. It's amazing! Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. There's even yoga and a totally organic salon. Definitely one of the good things going on in Carbondale.

A horrible experience for my husband and me. The therapists didn’t even introduce themselves to us. They were socially awkward and did not communicate with us when we came in. The massage therapist talked the entire time during my husband’s massage (about her personal life) and didn’t give my husband the massage and extras I requested on the papers I filled out. This place was recommended by our cabin hosts. I would not recommend this place and we will never return. Very expensive for the quality and we were very disappointed with the services provided. The sheets and rooms also smelled horrible.

This was our 1st time at In Sync and it was totally awesome. Donna and Becki was our ladies who worked their magic on us. We loved it and left feeling refreshed and invigorated more so than any other place we have ever been to. Thanx so much for your professionalism and great work.
