I left with more than I expected, and I expected a lot. To be honest I was a little wary when I saw I had to pay prior to the appointment because I didn’t know Kim. But once you meet her, all concerns will be dispelled - she’s a warm, giving person who just wants to love on people through her craft. Her knowledge is immediately apparent and she’s eager to share it in any way that will help you. Regarding her work, she knows what she’s doing. As you’ll quickly see, she’s knowledgeable without the arrogance and can help you without causing more pain. I went to her because my hands were going numb due to bad postures taken when holding my infant and from delivery. She found trigger points all over my body that I didn’t even realize were so tender. The numbness isn’t gone but it’s leaps better than before my session (I plan to return). She also helped other areas I was unaware of - my hips were more mobile as well as my back and my neck less tense. After my session, and for the first time after delivery, I felt energized and relaxed - I came home and took a deep nap and woke up with a desire to move and stretch. I stretched for an hour that evening because it felt wonderful to be able and have the desire to move. TLDR - Go to Kim, she can help you (in more ways than you realize). She’s truly knowledgeable and gifted; she’s worth it.

Kim is an amazing massage therapist! She’s been helping me with my neck and shoulder issues. She’s very thorough and while I typically prefer deep tissue massages I really do like her approach, as I can actually relax during my massage and feel my pain reducing every time. I walked through the doors today with emotional stress from losing my mom after caring for her these past 4 years, and physical stress of chronic pain from worsening scoliosis. Kim was so kind and understanding. In the past 45 years, I have worn a body brace, been in and out of therapy, Chiropractic care, surgical reviews, etc. and walked through the doors today with a massive mess for Kim to address; muscles so tight and ribcage so restricted that I could not sleep more than a couple of hours at a time, and had difficulty breathing deeply. Kim absolutely nailed the offending muscles, and intuitively knew exactly what needed to be addressed. This was truly a therapeutic massage to rival any that I have had as a part of my prescribed PT. I walked out with a markedly increased range of motion in my torso, and remarkable movement in my ribcage that facilitated easier breathing. I was not looking for a resort spa experience. I needed recovery, change, healing. Kim definitely knows what she is doing on that level. I have done enough PT to feel confident in doing my own exercise and stretching at home. I will leave the muscle release to the professional (my arms don't reach back there anyway ). Thank you Kim!! You were the blessing I needed right now!!
