Jackson's Pit Gourmet Grill & Bar

First timer here. Service was fast and energetic. We ordered loaded queso fries for an appetizer and the an olive burger and the Tilden kiln burger. Stay away from the Tilden if you don’t like heat, you may find it too spicy! Burger was seasoned really well and we enjoyed our chips! Will go back to try a new burger!

The place has an amazing atmosphere with music, Great staff, and some great Great tasting food. First time I tried ans definitely will be back Located downtown Negaunee stop on by for Delicious Food or just a Few drinks.

Thank you to the Jackson's Pit staff family! As working travelers, this bar gave us a place to call home while we were in town! The staff is very knowledgeable about the food, of which is fabulous from appetizers to burgers and salads too! The staff is beyond wonderful, so friendly and fun. Wait, I can't forget the locals, they are kind and amazing as well! Just an all around great experience and atmosphere. We hold Kate, Kat & Becca dear in our memories & hearts! Don't want to be social? No fear! You can also choose a table away from the bar, the food is worth it! (So are the drinks, and the pours are good too.) (Can't wait to get my sweatshirt I ordered!!!)

Stayed here for a few nights had the olive Burger three nights in a row it was that good! Mozzarella sticks or the pepper jack cheese balls were both awesome. Bartenders made great drinks.

We were drawn to this restaurant/bar because the kitchen stayed open till 10pm. Food has been consistent and a good selection of beverages. Staff is friendly. Beware of a person buying you a drink, you will be charged for multiple drinks. We caught it before paying the bill.

The burger was pretty good. Ordered onion rings and got 4. Ordered tomatoes on my burger and it was razor thin. Paid extra for both. Ordered the Orange shanty tap beer, came “flat” and not very cold. When we talked to the server about the beer she responded your next beer will come from the same cooler. When asked about the 4 onion rings for $2.50 she said yes that’s correct. Very disappointed.

Great atmosphere and food. Draft beer menu was robust, lots of food choices. Was underwhelmed by the portion of French fries served with the kid's meals and adult entree, that was the only negative. Has a stage for live music, but we went early and mid-week.
