Without going into a lot of details, suffice it to say that I have two chronic conditions that bring my body great pain. I had been going to a wonderful massage therapist for years, but she moved out of the area three years ago and I never found anyone else to go to. At the time, her treatments were the only things that really helped me. Fast forward to now Through fate (and divine intervention!) I met Jesse a month ago. I knew after the first massage that I was in "good hands" which was absolutely confirmed after the second. Jesse is truly gifted in what she does. She connects with you so deeply as she massages your body. I feel absolutely relaxed because she has earned my trust. She incorporates many different types of massage, depending on what I need. She listens to you, and your body, as she moves from spot to spot and is totally in tune with what she feels. Her great experience and knowledge is so evident with her every move. After receiving Jesse's massages, I have witnessed, first hand, the miracle of what she gives! I have lived with debilitating pain for many, many years but with complete amazement, I can tell you that my pain has been decreased by 90%! I now have a healer....... a true healer and I would (and do) recommend her to everyone with great excitement! I am so grateful to have found Jesse Scherer at Catskill Mountain Massage. Because of her, I can now look forward to such a greater quality of life than what I have known for so long!

Great quality! Jesse is gifted in her practice and a super sweet community minded human. Her space is calming and her covid protocol makes me feel safe and secure. Not only does Jesse really listen to my specific condition, she calculates a strategy to work out the kinks. It is not a typical symmetrical massage, but one geared for maximum healing. Besides all that, her rates are better than many in the area.

Jesse is a tremendously helpful, talented and knowledgeable practitioner of massage therapy. She listens carefully and with empathy to the issues that I raise, and then applies her skills with total focus and intensity. Jesse is hands down amazing! I've been having pains/numbness in my legs for months now and have been seeing a chiropractor regularly since it started with only little success. After seeing Jesse for the first time two weeks ago I immediately felt some relief and for the first time in months I was able to sleep through the night without waking up to pain. I had my second appointment today and am already so excited to go back next week. Another huge plus for me is how personable and easy to talk to Jesse is - I can be very awkward and anxious around new people (and people I've known for years) making it very difficult to relax, but there is just something about her that makes me feel welcome and safe.
