Jinny's Spa

Walked in on a whim today. It was one of best massages I've had in Richmond. Asked for hard pressure and I got it. Very thorough back walking and she focused allot of attention to the knots in my back as she found them.

Excellent massage. Anna was able to loosen up my low back and reduce the pain. Will be returning on a regular basis

Massage was excellent im giving a three just because about I didn't like how the massage therapist was bargaining about a tip that I gave her and was saying that she needed more and I thought that was rude I gave her 10 dollar plus paid for my massage.

The best massage ever!!! Jinny knows exactly where my painful spots are and how to relieve the muscle spasms. She is by far the best massage therapist and has helped me tremendously with my recovery. On a scale of 1-10, I give her a 10+++ for professional, technique, skill, availability and cleanliness.

I received a wonderful 60 min massage and 30 min foot reflexology from Jinny’s Massage Spa on 3/25/22. I was in town for the Jefferson Cup Girls Soccer Showcase, my daughter was getting a manicure and pedicure next door at Nail Bar and Spa. I had a manicure and pedicure at my home salon the week prior. I didn’t want to wait 2hrs for my daughter and noticed Jinny’s next door. Nail Bar recommended Jinny’s and I’m glad they did. I really needed a massage after our 8+ hour drive down to Richmond from Connecticut. Jinny’s is in a strip mall, in between Papa John’s Pizza and Barbara Hammond’s School of Dance. Jinny’s is clean and welcoming. My massage therapist, sorry, I don’t know her name, was courteous, effective, knowledgeable and 100% professional.

The only massage centre did amazing things on my body pains! Almost I tried all spa in the area! Jinny's you are the best! Thanks for the wonderfull experience every time.

The first problem was that they speak very broken English. I made an appt for an hour deep tissue massage and 30 minutes reflexology. I explained that my muscles were very hard and that they would need to use a lot of pressure. During the massage I told the massuse 10 times that she wasn't using enough pressure. The massage accomplished nothing, in fact the back hurt more afterwards from laying on my back. The "reflexology" was simply a gentle foot rub! When I left I explained to her that she didn't do a good job and why. She handed me the Credit Card receipt and said "forgot tip"! I foolishly put down $5, which was 20%. She was greatly offended at what she considered a small tip. Again, I explained that she didn't do a good job. She continued to cuss me out as I left.

This place use to be good, especially if you get the one who runs it!! But, the person that was my masseuse didn’t know what she was doing and if she did the massage didn’t show it. First, she didn’t know how to massage the muscle, she ran her hands over it didn’t know how to change pressure. For the hour massage she spent around 45 min on my back moving around to different spots but spent majority of time on left shoulder. Then quickly ran through the rest of the body in a rush. I still left with a sore back. Although the massage was bad the hot stones did feel good.
