Great spot if you love karaoke. There's a live band that plays the music and you sing your songs right on the stage. Quite an experience! The crowd is friendly but mostly ppl over 50, although younger people come there as well. Bartender was great and fast. Great atmosphere, good music, what's not to like?

This place is just great! Music is awesome, drinks are reasonable and the food is amazing. We usually just grab apps, but always great. I can't say enough about the service. We always get taken care of, no matter how busy it is. Was there Saturday, place was packed, there was even people watching the band from the sidewalk, our server still didn't miss a beat. You'd think I'd know his name as many times as we've been there. But, the guy with lots of tattoos.. including his face, is awesome! Thanks for such great service! If you're lucky enough to grab a table on the sidewalk, the people watching is very entertaining. Lots of motorcycle parking along the side street as well. Great place!

A fun open patio bar with great vibes and great food. The fried grouper sandwich exceeded my expectations and tasted great. Prices aren’t terrible, but my only complaint is their train jello shot deal, what started as a fun gimmick became a quick turn off with misleading prices for their shots, claiming they’re “ half price” when the price on menu is the half price. That aside, this is a good group spot and would recommend to anyone in the area.

Right on the avenue, the live music and open air layout will guide you into this old school Florida bar type restaurant. A local staple with fun performers and really good burgers, this is a great place to grab a beer and listen to some good music.

Good business, fun place. Burger was pretty good, just needed a little more seasoning in the meat. Place was super packed with a great live band. Staff was rather swarmed. They did well but a couple of them came off slightly rude, but it's understandable when you're swamped. Would recommend to others.

JB's used to be ok. Not good for baby boomers or seniors like used to be, now rude, wild young patrons, rowdy rap type crowd. Now, Monday is Live Band karaoke from 8 to 12, which really sucks now. Band good but the host and way it's handled now NOT good. Has his own little group that always sing, instead of allowing new singers in the rotation as like a experienced kj does. Was better before Covid. Used to pick a song out of a list in a book the band knew. Give a song slip to the band member. The big issue is kitchen closes at 10pm now? Didnt use to before now since have new owner we found out by mgr at Silverball museum next door stating also not as good as when previous owners ran the joint and karaoke night was better with food up to closing. So we tried to get service, took way too long & was talking to his friends, Waiter finally gets to table and we wanted to eat something, rudely says no food, kitchen close!!!!!!!d and walks off. So friend leaves to go next door and get food from nearby and walks back in sits back down with his group. Same waiter immediately comes over makes a big deal about we can't eat other food in bar. Remember,,we tried to order their food for group and their drinks, so he calls this big black rude bouncer over and the black ape harasses the guy and his girl and tells the whole group waiting forever to sing forcing to leave pushing the girl and guy as they are walking out. Another friend was videoing the band and caught this black ape looking dude pushing the girl & guy and will be reporting to authorities. This abuse all over wanting to eat some food from another place when they stopped serving at 10pm and karaoke still going on. I do NOT recommend JBs anymore, especially on Mondays. You want good karaoke,Go to Tim Finegans or others. There is a sweet girl named Dawn good karaoke host and more upscale intelligent crowd and staff/service way much better food as well & served til almost closing time. Also, we noticed homeless beggers, hangs at and outside of JBs now. Not very safe from street looters who hang outside on sidewalks and in back patio area exit. Parking is difficult. A P.I. detective friend will be involving dirty dining investigators as well as BMI /ASCAP monitoring JBs frequently, because of this issue, just over food being brought in after told no food there,,leave if you want to eat & Rude, even physical abuse to women by staff Unbelievable! Your thoughts? Where do you go for safe karaoke spots on Mondays and other nights?

I absolutely love this place. The live music was undeniably phenomenal. I had the fish tacos and they were some of the best I’ve ever had (Florida always has the best, most fresh fish you could ever find). The musicians performing the night I attended were playing a lot of old school music, which I am a huge fan of! The atmosphere was to die for; everyone was up dancing and having a great time! I had a few non-alcoholic beers and they were reasonably priced! My waiter Kyle was fantastic! The food came out fast, the music was great, and the service was excellent! If you ever make your way to Delray Beach, this absolutely MUST be one of your stops!

Came to see Black Water Sound play with other bands. Show was a banger!!! Food was o.k., not worth the price point. Service was not great when we got there. After they cashed out, service was alot better with new waitress. Atmosphere was great.
