Johnny J's Pub & Grille, Medina

Brought my son here for his birthday! Great atmosphere with excellent food, service, and drinks. He had a burger and fries, and I had a sandwich called the strangewich ( cheesesteak). It was excellent! Highly recommend it, and also the nachos and the buffalo chicken dip and chips. We will be back!

If I could zero I would all these feathers on my chicken you all should be ashamed would you eat this??? let’s be honest I ordered 6 wings and fries and 3 of the wings are covered in bird wings I’m so disgusted I could throw up over and over again thinking about it don't go here unless you like dirty chicken because they clearly didn’t clean this

SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!! Unfortunately. We chose Johnny' J's in Medina, Ohio for our first seasonal outing this year. We chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful day. First impressions, dirty, dirty tables and concrete cleanliness under chairs and table was awful. With this economy, eating out for us is a treat. So, I don't mind spending $75.00 for a lunch of: 2 " tall ones", 2 sandwiches ( one chicken, one italian) with house fries and a side order of Reuben egg rolls...IF... the chips would have been crunchy, the bread on my toasted hoagie crunchy, the cheese melted and the meat at least warm! Reordered warm pretzel sticks with cheese sauce hoping I I could eat with Mark,, they were alas, a disappointment also. On a bright note. The beer was cold and the dogs LOVED the pretzels On a 1-10 * scale...** (for the cold beer) Save your money...DQ meal was actually a better lunch sans cold beer!

My boyfriend got the hangover burger. i got the Dublin buger with no hot sauce. They don't ask you how you like your burger cooked. I'm not sure if you have to specify or not. As our side we both got tater tots. I just got a Coke and he got a Blue Moon Draft. They give you a good amount of food! Drinks were awesome as well as the service! I forgot her name, but she checked on us frequently and refilled my drink and I didn't even have to ask! We also got the pretzel bites as an appetizer. We typically get soft pretzels alot when we dine out and these were by far the best! The white queso was good. A gentle amount of heat. My boyfriend and I typically don't go to bars, but we wanted to try something new because we drove past it all the time going to Starbucks. I haven't been to a bar in awhile. I liked the chill atmosphere, it wasn't that crowded and you have plenty of televisions around you to watch. Overall, great expierence!

I’ve given this place so many chances mainly because I bartended at the Strongsville location and live in the Medina area currently. I just want the bartenders to acknowledge that there are more than just their buds hanging out. I’ve been standing at the top of the bar for six keno rounds and have been passed by the bartenders more than twice but they never said ‘hey, hi, need help, etc’ this whole time. I’m a patient person, but funk, this is insane.

I love going to JohnnyJs ateast 3 times per week because they serve amazing food, loaded tots are my favorite! And the build your own burger is fantastic! Cooked and served fresh just for me Most importantly, the bartender Lauren was the first to recognize me and my favorite beer. She is attentive friendly and does her job extremely well. Whenever I come here she makes me feel so welcome she even remembered my name and I see her treating other regulars the same way. That's how a good bartender operates and this place is lucky to have Lauren dedicating her skills here. She went above and beyond when she noticed I left personal items on the bar when I left and she ran out to find me, I appreciated that so much. This place has a chill vibe and a big patio that allows me to smoke, people are friendly it's a good place with a dynamic atmosphere. A gem in Medina. I am so sad to move away....

Don’t use your debit card here or if you do, don’t open a tab! Also this establishment rarely checks IDs when paying with a debit card ‍♀️ I unfortunately was having a horrible day and tried to go unwind here at this establishment and some how lost my debit card, probably in the smoking area because I figure that’s where I possibly dropped it out of pocket when pulling my cigarettes out and somehow still got 2 charges for about $300 that night! I lost my card and some dishonest person decided to enjoy their night courtesy of my bank account. If this establishment would check IDs when presented a debit card, this wouldn’t happen. Thank you for ruining me faith in people. Also the drinks weren’t worth the money and the fried food was over cooked, I’ll never waste my money here again ‍♀️ I’d rather go grab a McDonald’s burger because atleast they wouldn’t rob me. Only giving 2 stars because some of the food was ok.

Worst service I’ve ever had. Server was almost non-existent and rude. Barely checked on us. Forgot my wife’s water, I had to go to the bartender to get one. When I told her she said she was tied up. We waited 20mins on it! Saw her talking/taking shots. Then blamed us asking if we even ordered it. Which we did (twice) to two different people. Also messed my order up and took 10+ mins to replace a side. Don’t waste your time or money.
