It was my first time, I had a Groupon coupon and wasn’t expecting a great service as I felt it was cheaper through Groupon and their prices are high in general. But that was my wrong assumption, they made me feel pampered. Ms.Akira was really great! I felt relieved, relaxed and so much lighter. I would be going back here again for my regular massages. Front office folks were great too. In a hot location with access to food and grocery, lots of parking, place is clean with a lot of rooms. Looks like the place is happening with good massages. If you are new to the area, I recommend this place for you to try!

I'm new to the area and was looking for a new massage therapist. I'd planned to compare a few different spas but after the incredible massage I had today with Michael, I had no reason to look any further! The spa is lovely and clean. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Michael is a gem with amazing skill and knowledge. What an amazing experience! I highly recommend Johns Creek Spa and Michael. I'm now a monthly member but plan on going every other week as we work on the scar tissue left from a major surgery.

I've been here twice. The first time I had a great massage with Michael. The second massage I requested Michael, he took me back to the room, then once I was on the table he came back in the room and asked me if I could see another therapist because he was ill. I said yes, but the person who completed the massage was not a great therapist. The massage was supposed to be deep tissue--for most of the service she only performed two moves and they were both light Swedish techniques. I was willing to just enjoy this type of massage until she began digging her elbow into my arthritic knee cap. When I asked her to stop she told me that she needed to "educate me" as to how deep work--on my knee cap--was the "only way" to get rid of "knots." There's a lot to unpack there, but: 1. Arthritis is not "knots." 2. Elbow pressure and friction on a joint like the knee is contraindicated with pain and arthritis 3. If a client tells you that they are uncomfortable or in pain with something that you are doing, stop.

I received a gift card to Johns Creek Spa from my husband for Christmas. I decided to use it for an 80 minute massage. I arrived at the spa and found it to be clean and inviting. I was welcomed by the young lady at the front desk and given an intake form to fill out. Once I had filled out the form, I was given an opportunity to use the restroom before my appointment. I was then escorted to my massage room and given directions to help prepare me for the massage. Icis was my massage therapist, and she was friendly yet professional. She explained everything she was doing, and asked periodic questions about how the massage was going. She gave an excellent massage, making sure I was comfort and that her pressure was what I wanted. I felt very relaxed and comfortable during the massage. At the end of the massage, she brought me a cup of water and directed me to the front desk to pay for my appointment. At the desk, they explained the discounts and other benefits of their membership program in detail. They answered my questions, and were informative, but not “high pressure”. I decided to sign up for a 12-month membership, and I look forward to my next massage appointment!

Johns Creek Spa, you have an absolute treasure in Michael. I was there yesterday and I woke up a new person this morning. While a pampering, relaxing massage would have been lovely, it was not the purpose of my visit. He was a wonderful and knowledgeable therapist for my injury - based needs and he accomplished the relief I was seeking. I am very, very pleased with my experience and will certainly return.

I just had a amazing expierience at Johns Creek Spa! I found them on groupon and decided to try them out. My massage therapist was ICIS and she 1000% did not disappoint. She listened to me and my body. She did an amazing deep tissue. I like hard pressure and some therapist don't get in good enough. She asked me how it was and if I wanted it harder or softer. She was great!!! With recent car accident I have been in a lot of pain and she was super helpful. Charice the owner was there at check in and check out, she was very helpful and informative. The worst part was when I was sadly told my massage was over....I could have stayed all day!!! I will be back....do yourself a favor and book your massage there today!!!!!

The massage was very nice. I like deep massage and she definitely found some tight muscles that I didn't realize were griping. She did not really massage the front of my shoulder and chest, despite me noting that I work at a desk. So I would have added that and left off so much attention on the lower legs and arms. I believe she used tea tree in the oil and I liked that. Toward the end of the massage, I got very relaxed and started to doze off a bit. I would also change the "invitation" to come back at check out. Per my intake form, I hadn't been to a massage in a year and a half. As i was checking out, I was asked when I'd like to come back. I can confidently say that a grown man who hasn't been to a massage in over a year and used a Groupon isn't likely to schedule his next full price massage massage right then. It would have been better to thank me for coming and ask if I'd like to receive an invitation by mail/email to come back in a few months. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience, and based on this experience, I would go back again.
