John's Place

First time here and love the vibe here. Hard to tell there is a bar here since it looks like a gas station (which it is too).

John's is a pretty solid gas station with good prices all the time. It’s also connected to a pizza place and restaurant, which brings in a decent crowd. I haven’t tried the food yet, but it looks like a popular spot. If you're in the area and need gas or a quick bite, it seems like a convenient stop.

Such a fun place on the weekends! Karaoke on Friday nights and usually live music on Saturday nights. Bartenders are dolls and hustle. You do not wait for your drinks cause they are not on their phones! There is a food truck there that has really good food with good variety. Awesome "dive bar" for sure!! Go see Hannah on Wednesday nights and shoot some pool while you're there.

Why have a taco truck outside that refuses to serve customers during operating hours? I stood in line last week for 15 minutes with no one in front of me or behind and they refused to take my order. I am a paying customer and simply wanted food. From now on, I’ll bring my own or save myself the money and TIME before I attempt to order your food again. Stop having rude people work. There were about five people in that small truck and the only thing they could do is shuffle around and act lost. I am a short woman (5 foot to be exact) and I am come here often. I will be SURE to make sure people don’t buy the food and save it for the drinks in the bar. I felt discriminated in a way and I have nothing nice to say about your food truck with the workers and their inability to unfreeze a hotdog in less than hour. Thanks for disappointing John’s!

Tonight was my first time here. I’m from Georgia and I recently accepted a job here in the area. My team and I left work to celebrate another employee’s last night with us. We ordered and went to the outside area. One of the employees didn’t have his license with him, so he couldn’t order a drink. No problem. Instead, he ordered food and just sat with the rest of us. The bartender came outside going off on the entire group. She told the coworker who wasn’t even drinking that he had to go. Then she proceeded to snatch drinks out of two of my other coworker’s hands, who didn’t even do anything. It all went left and she began yelling at one of the coworkers and the one who wasn’t drinking. She put them out! Another guy who works there came and told them they had to leave as well. Our entire night was ruined! You don’t snatch drinks out of the hands of a paid customer, especially when they didn’t do anything wrong! The bartender also proceeded to check the ID of another coworker a second time after she had already checked out his ID at the bar. I have NEVER experienced anything like this in my life! This was by far the WORST experience I have ever witnessed! Long story short, the bartender is a complete JERK and management needs to seriously rethink having her behind the bar. Everyone else outside was so kind to us and agreed that the bartender was wrong.

What a fun and welcoming joint, big outside patio for the smokers on game day (or night).. Plenty of draft and bottle beers to choose from, and the store next door had the most impressive craft beer selection I've seen in a while. The girls behind the bar are like family with the management (some of them are!) so they treat the place like it's theirs... Very welcoming vibe from Char, Hannah, Kelley...all the girls really... And if you have a really well behaved dog, they can come say hi!

What a cool place! We were staying at the KOA behind it and happened to see a menu at the front office. It's built into the back of an Exxon station, very incognito. But we felt like we were at the Keys! Has big roll up doors and a spectacular food truck get the crab cakes! We will definitely make the trip back here just to hang out there. It's worth it!

Bar... food is what you would expect, but tasted good. Great food and drink specials to try and a fun atmosphere. Outside patio if you want as well as good sports place to watch a game or hangout. Really!! Even if it seems like it is part of gas station... you will be surprised.
