Kappy's Daiquiri & Sports

We were staying at the hotel nearby and walked over. There was walk up service or counter service at the bar (so no table wait staff) but the staff was fast and friendly. I ate the gumbo and it was 10/10!! Also tasted a couple of the daiquiris and they were all delicious (and strong) 😉

We stayed at the hotel next door and got in late and wanted something easy and ideally somewhat authentic/different. The food was phenomenal. We got the fried green beans, chicken cracklins, sea dog, and fish and chips. It was all amazing, but the chicken cracklins and their sauce totally stole the show. I had never been to Louisiana but if I come back through I plan to prioritize coming back here and getting it! I wasn’t crazy impressed with the daiquiri but it was all still great and quick and well priced.

I always enjoy myself there but the drinks never ever give me a buzz. I rarely go out but when I do I get 1 drink that I can get 1 and I don’t have to get another. Which is a patron margarita. It was weak as water. And that’s every time I have been. I have now just stopped buying alcohol when I go there.

I visited Kappy's with my family! We were celebrating my 76th birthday! It was my first visit. As soon as I walked in, I felt good vibes! We had so much fun! My granddaughter and my sister did Kareoke too! It was great and everyone in there were friendly , staff and patrons too! Thanks!!

My family and I celebrated my sister’s 32nd birthday here and we had a TIME. The atmosphere was so nice like your favorite auntie's front porch vibe lol. And the FOOD…the food is better than 83% of the restaurants in Slidell…true tea and I'm a city girl. A not-so-hidden GEM indeed.

What a Great Place to have a Great Meal and drinks, We have been here a little over a week for work and decided to go to Kappys, we were totally surprised by the service, food and drinks. They have the BEST Daiquiri bar I have ever seen, the food was AWESOME, we had the pork rinds, the Duck and Anduie Gumbo is the best I have had, And don't get me started on the Crawfish boil in a bowl!! Pictured here is the BEST RIBS in Louisiana, everything here is great and we tried most of the menu!!! When you are in the Slidell area we highly recommend you visit Kappys, If I could give more stars,Darryl and Michelle are amazing owners/ host Love Y'all and Thank You for a Great Time, also they have awesome beans!!!!

Hamburger, onion rings was good, I had the try the crawfish boil soup, OMG it was delicious. You have to go stand in a line at the bar to order food, no waiter's or waitresses.

This place is amazing! A completely New and Wonderful place to go. There is a kitchen and several pool tables. The drinks are so tasty. Kappy's is right off the interstate and right in front of a hotel. Karaoke is on Friday and Saturday.
