Great food, great atmosphere, great value! One of the better restuarants around the lake. I got the wings and my fiancé got fish tacos, we were both impressed. I’m ashamed it took us this long to find them, we will be back!

We had several different items in our party of 8 and all food was done well. No complaints, but no dishes screamed eat me again. As it all seemed generic but good. My husband does love coleslaw, but he did not like the coleslaw here.

Lakeside Hideout is where Sunnyside used to be. My only complaint is they discontinued turtle soup. I would sometimes drive 2 1/2 hours JUST for turtle soup. I ordered the tenderloin and the fries. The fries were perfectly fried and had salt and pepper on them. The tenderloin was the star of the show. They have grilled and fried. I ordered fried, obviously, because duh. The meat wasn't pounded out too thin and the breading wasn't too thick. The meat was tender and juicy and the breading was light and crispy! It was up there as one of the best tenderloins I've ever had! My server was lovely and it was nice to sit outside by the channel and enjoy a meal and watch the farmers do their thing. The prices feel a bit steep for Mercer County, but I'll be back again.

The Hideout is our absolute favorite place of anywhere, not just around the lake! The entire staff treats us like family and like they want us to come back. This is a true testament to the owners! Best owners and staff of any restaurant out there!

Had the Cowboy Tacos this week. Sorry to say they were very greasy and the brisket tough and chewy, and questionable. I couldn’t finish them, informed the waitress and she said sorry to hear! My other experiences with have been good. Hoping this was just an isolated incident.

Awesome Place with Great owners. Clean, Professional and polite staff as well. Sat at the bar later in the evening on a Friday night, super fun peeps and great vibe, I just wish they would dim the lights a little, they were so bright it seemed like last call the whole time we were there.

This is our go to place! The food is great, we never worry about trying something new, its always good! The staff is friendly, fun and seem to really enjoy working there, you dont get that everywhere. I highly reccomend the garlic rub wings!!
