We celebrated our anniversary last night and had the most amazing time! Great food, great service, and the atmosphere was amazing. Our server Chris was absolutely amazing and super knowledgeable, this is truly the best dining experience I have ever had. I can’t wait to come back again!

One of the best restaurants in Harrisonburg and the surrounding Shenandoah Valley area. Amazing service and delicious food. My favorite is the local steaks that get featured as specials. Fish is always cooked perfectly and the Mac and cheese is the best side you can get.

I’m in town for two nights by myself, so I figured I’d treat myself to a nice dinner. When I walked in, I offered to sit at their bar (so that I wouldn’t be taking up a whole table on a busy night), but they insisted that I get the full dining experience. My server, Chris, was the highlight of my visit and the main reason for the five star review (in spite of the steak being just ok). He was welcoming, helpful, attentive, and friendly, and he made it much less awkward to dine at a nice restaurant alone. (Also, I was seated in a side room near the stairs, and I witnessed his interaction with a family on their way out as he made a point to say goodbye to their young child, with whom he had clearly bonded over the last hour.) The warm focaccia bread and honey butter to start were just what I needed today—it was a struggle not to eat the whole basket by myself. Fortunately, Chris was able to grab me a side of that honey butter to go so I can have some more for breakfast. With his guidance, I got the scallop appetizer, a 12oz ribeye with demi glace, a side of ratatouille, and the deconstructed cheesecake. For drinks, I ordered a Blueberry Bramble to start, which was a decent cocktail, but nothing I’d write home about. To go with the steak, I got a glass of Santa Julia Cab Sauv (dry with a peppery finish). The scallops were huge and were cooked *perfectly*—I wish there had been more than two of them, but Chris did tell me exactly how many there were before I ordered them. They were just SO good that I wanted more. The ribeye was just ok. I ordered it medium rare and even specified that bordering rare was ok, but it was pretty overcooked (medium in places, medium well in others). Granted, it was also an oddly thin cut of ribeye, so it might have actually been difficult to cook to temp without overdoing it. Some of the fat was also not rendered properly, so there were several inedible pieces. It was seasoned well, though, and I’m never one to send anything back, so I just ate the portion that I could. In hindsight, I probably would have ordered a filet instead—I’m guessing the cook on a thicker, less fatty cut would have been fine. The side and sauce were both great. I could barely eat my dessert, but only because I was too full (and my eyes were bigger than my stomach), but it was just the right size to take home for a midnight snack. All in all, I’d visit again if I’m ever in the area and maybe just switch up a few of my choices.

Was looking for a good steak in the area and this place nailed it! What are the 12 oz ribeye with the demi glace. Tender and cooked to perfection at medium well. There was a housemaid corn that contained peach and ligh peppers that was delicious. Duck fat fries are always a hit and these delivered well. I usually dip my fries and ranch but the House made sauce that is similar to a more bold tasting ketchup was very good. Really enjoyed the fact that the server was extremely honest about answering our questions. Didn't hesitate to give his suggestions and everything he suggested was right on the money! The atmosphere is very inviting and is a great place to have a nice meal for any occasion. The meats locally sourced as well as other items this is certainly a spot I would recommend anybody checking out. Pricing is very fair comparison to other chop houses!

We came here for dinner while visiting Massanutten area. Not many places to choose from and was a bit late to go for a nicer dinner, but we are very happy we came here!! Our waitress was new in training and was spot on/very knowledgeable of the menu. The fresh warm facatia bread to the table (made in house) was amazing. Cocktails = incredible. Pork belly bites melt in your mouth. Rib eye with duck fat fries was cooked/seasoned to perfection. Their peach ketchup was the best ketchup I’ve ever tried in my life. U10 Scallops were cooked perfectly/biggest ones I’ve ever seen. Do not skip out on the creme brûlée either!! The inside was beautiful/quiet. We will be back just for this place! Worth every penny!

Beautiful place! Amazing drinks, several of our groups' "best dinner i've ever had". Our waitress, Ziannie? Was so sweet and a native to where my bf and I are visiting from! Love this place!
