Machine Nightclub

Drinks are expensive, except for the pitchers of beer. Those work out really well. When the club isn't over there are like 5 people at the bar. Halloween was a bust as they had nothing going on. Just having the bar open and not the down stair club part even on week days I think isn't good for business. A huge portion of my friends are scared to go unless there is an event or a Saturday. Mostly male dominated. I'd love to see some woman nights at the machine even if it isn't on a weekend. A cocktail menu at the very least for when the club isn't open. I find myself spending the same about at the D-bar as I do here and that's a fine dining experience with amazing cocktails. I'm aware machine is a club, but on the days where it really doesn't act like one, I find little reason to go. A good drink would be a good start.

The music was on point and the drinks where decent but the crowd that it attracts is not a lively one for some odd reason. I got there around 11:35p and there was not many people there so I figured it would pick up around midnight. Around 12:46 more people came but it was probably like 20 of us in the whole top floor of the club which is the 21+ crowd. The 18+ crowd downstairs was a little more live but still not as many people as I thought. He drag show was mediocre and queens were amateurs but it was a cute effort they provided. Would recommend this place only to underage teens looking for a good time in LQBT community but otherwise not impressed.

Machine night club. What can I say? It had a good amount of clientele. But at the end of the day, all but 3 of the staff members were rude. I had called earlier in the day, and instead of letting me speak to ask a question, I got cut off and told "21 and up". Twice I was cut off. I didn't let one person ruin my day, and decided to give it a second chance. It was overpriced for the event. I don't think it was worth the money I spent. For either floor. One of the bartenders was very nice and the people at the door were very informative and sweet. If it had better staff, was alittle cleaner, and had more of a customer service understanding, it would be a very successful business.

Machine is a great place for the 18 and over crowd ( Friday and Saturday only ) It can be a lot of fun to sing and dance all night long in a friendly environment. Beware, there is a lot of crowding, but in my opinion that’s part of the fun. There’s always another room to go to that’s less crowded though. So have fun! Oh and they only accept cash so that’s important! ($15 for 18-20, $10 for 21+)

Great, high-energy bar! I come here once or twice a year with my running club, or for their dance nights. It's always high-energy, and very friendly. If you book a party there, ask for Donnald! He's the best!

1.) DON’T bring any beverages if you are under 21. Waited in line to get in and my friend threw out an energy drink. The security guard for some reason thought it was alcohol and extremely rudely told us to get out. Told him we were completely sober and even asked if a breathalyzer was available, still told us very rudely to get out of line, even judging our choice of outfits. 2.) We also ran into a girl who was clearly intoxicated on the sidewalk outside. Security lied to her and said that her friends were outside and told her to look for them. She was left outside in the rain with no cell service, intoxicated, and they wouldn’t even let her back in to make a phone call to get an Uber back home. Was really excited to try this place out but just left extremely disappointed.

Easily the most friendly club of its kind in the Boston Area. I've had only one experience that was wholly objectionable and inexcusable and although it was with a bartender it was never repeated nor had it any precedent. I was entirely outraged by the behavior of this staff member but I was with a friend who wanted to stay. Under other circumstances I would have made my disgust known. But that was one, isolated occasion and presented no reason to hold it against the club itself overall.
