My 10 year old who has been diagnosed with severe scoliosis, just had her first massage here and she has not stopped talking about how amazing it was since she got back. She said she, “feels like she has a whole new back”. And that “everyone should have massages here, I HAVE to spread the word”. Lol (she is a bit dramatic). But seriously, as a mom that is new to this condition and wants to try to use natural options to manage it, I am so so happy she enjoyed it as much as she did and she will most definitely be a returning customer. As for business, Maintain You Spa won't be getting my money ever again. I booked a 90-minute Valentine's Day special massage. The price was $20, so I am thinking that price + the tip I would be leaving my therapist... When I arrived at the spa, I was told that my therapist would be Chelsey, which was not a problem for me. I get a massage and get ready to pay. At that moment, the owner asked me, "How much did you think the message was?" I told her the price that was listed... She tells me it's $75 AFTER the service has been rendered, and she had made an error in pricing. That information should have been expressed before the services were rendered, but instead, the owner waited after the services to share this information with me and couldn't even print the receipt after I paid, which was very shady to me. This was poor business practice, and I am highly disappointed at the lack of communication with me as a returning client. Unlikely to recommend.
