Manhandler Saloon

I'm sure this place is a blast at night, but we went in during the day for a quick drink while we waited on my friend, and it wasn't great. It was a gorgeous day outside, but inside there are no windows so it was pitch black. Like, dungeon black. We did an immediate about-face. So basically, don't go when the sun is shining.

This place seemed like it would be a fun hole in wall but we had a terrible experience. We scoped the place out by walking to the back patio and we were followed by the bartender, who told us we had to order a drink before we could walk to the patio? There was only a handful of people in the bar. We ended up ordering shots to appease the bartender. They were watered down. There was gay porn on the TV, which would have been quirky had the whole experience not been so bad. Would not recommend.

They don't have locks on the bathroom doors. Has a very crusie vibe - not bad in itself. Drinks were expensive and watered down. But seriously the bathrooms are atrocious, one didn't even have a door handle

Most disengaged staff I have ever seen. Seedy and dark bar with no one talking to anyone. Very disappointing. To top it all off when I asked for a Maker’ Manhattan up the bartender asked me what is in that? I went with a vodka tonic instead. I would skip this one.

Have been going there for a couple of years now always a fun time!

I just called to make sure they were open and asked if they had any specials today, and the guy who answered was extremely rude and changed my mind about going.

Small bar and grumpy old bar tender. Would not go back.
