Massage & Spa at Bethany

Lindsay is amazing. She listens and focuses on the client’s requests especially for areas that man need more work while still performing a head to toe therapy session. I had the Natural Balance Massage and it was one of the best massages I’ve had in a long time, thanks to Lindsay. I felt so relaxed that my aches and pains seemed to have melted away. I would definitely recommend this place.

The Bethany area is lucky to have an establishment like this. Always clean, smells great, super calming as soon as you walk in. I have had waxing/facials done by Adrienne multiple times. She has great hands and great demeanor. I would highly recommend her. The best LMT there is Janae. I have recommended her to several family and friends and they have been to see her and agree with me. I unfortunately have moved away from Portland and therefore will miss being able to see Janae anymore for massages. I had patronized this business at least 10 times during my time living in the Bethany neighborhood, kept returning as the quality was good. I did have one negative experience once; I booked a last minute massage with someone who was not Janae. The name started with a D, I can't remember her name anymore. It was one of the worst massages I've ever had, bad enough that I felt like I did have to speak to the front desk about it. I talked to Sierra and Jennifer by phone and they helped make it right. I haven't seen that massage therapist again since, probably because after that incident I made sure to only book Janae. Highly recommend Adrienne and Janae, will miss seeing them in the future.

I have been coming to Massage and Spa at Bethany for several years, my experience has always been AWESOME. The massage therapist and estheticians are excellent. I have found the staff to be professional, caring and attentive. I would highly recommend!

I asked Sharlene for deep pressure and she delivered! I also told her about my main areas of pain and she helped to focus on them so I left completely relaxed. What an amazing hot stone massage, I will definitely be back!

I’m not sure why the owner keeps attacking the negative reviews and so I called them to make an appointment and asked about the validity of the claims. They said that the business was not great since the negative reviews and how the owner is short of money to run a business. So they fire customers that learn about their scam and rudeness. But they do it after forcing them to pay tips and gaslight them for sharing feedback. One of the LMT agreed that they don’t get paid well and rely on tips. I am sure this review will catch their eye and will respond in a nasty way. Do me a favour . If you are looking for a high quality of massage and a psychologically safe environment where you can share what works for you and what doesn’t, avoid this place . Economy is tough and the owner wants to make money while offering subpar services and finding creative ways to bury negative reviews. Maybe they were good when they started but you don’t want their toxic energy. Life is tough and massage and spa at Bethany will make sure it is true if you want true value for your money and be treated right. P.s - cue a lengthy angry response from the owner . Because typing trash is much easier than to own up to mistakes and offer apologies.

Everything was amazing! Adrienne took very good care of me. This was a much needed self care day for me and I'm so happy! I had the best sleep of my life when I went home. I am looking forward to my next facial with her ☺️.

I would advise to stay away from them based on my experience. The establishment is clean and serene. The staff are not how at when coming to providing massage services for the booked time. The owner makes up excuses like “ it’s their first day and they were nervous and ended the massage session early “ “ you cannot time the 90 minute session as it questions our integrity “ . One of the LMT said my time begins as soon as I walk in the door and that she needs to end it early so she can be on time for the next customer . these are all different ways of ghosting and stealing your money. The owner is against timing the sessions and wants the customers to play along for whatever they choose to offer. Never have ever seen anybody refuse to be honest to the money they charge . A few of the customers had posted similar experiences and I booked the appointment hoping it would be different but guess we all learn something new everyday!

I have seen three different massage therapists here and they were all wonderful! I left feeling so relaxed and recharged. The spa is very welcoming, I highly recommend.
