Matilda Midnight

Matilda Midnight was truly a vibe and I couldn’t recommend it enough. My husband and I went on a Sunday night and it wasn’t very busy. Which was completely fine with us. The bartender was great and he made us delicious and delightful cocktails. Since it was my birthday he even made me a very tasty shot that went with the drink I was was having at the time. The atmosphere was everything. Every little detail put into everything was perfect. Definitely wanting to go back

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. What an unexpected surprise tucked away in a cute little Chattanooga hotel! Immediately upon arriving at the hotel, the service was incredible, from the concierge at the door, to the bar staff, it made me seriously regret not staying at the hotel itself. But to the bar itself, also incredible. We were told after sitting down that they had just rolled out a new menu, and I can't speak for the atmosphere and presentation of previous menus, but this one was incredible. Astrology themed and printed on a beautiful card (we wanted to steal one, but we didn't) the menu sets the tone for the incredibly unique drinks it describes. The cocktails were beautiful and delicious. And while the low light in the bar doesn't lend to the best photo ops, it does promote enjoying the moment and you can grab some great selfies in your cute outfit in the hotel lobby which is sunlit and decorated in a great mid-century modern vibe. Cue the Mad Men theme. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Before my friend and I even walked in Zane ran over to open the door and welcome us. Showed us around Matilda and was just overall so nice! The bartenders are also super chill and immediately greeted us, and got our drinks which are super delicious. First time here for both of us we would 1000% recommend it! I would hire Zane In a heartbeat at my restaurant just based on how he interacts with guest. Great team here and amazing drinks!

Drinks were so unique and delicious... They really had a creative flair

Friendly, knowledgeable server, and bartender Colin. Good food timing, great selection on drinks. Comfortable lounge areas and tables. Small, quiet, easy. Great cocktail lounge. Intimate. Clean. Unisex individual restrooms x2. Reasonably priced.

Small, cozy, intimate bar in the Dwell Hotel with a hidden, speakeasy feel. I was there on a Sunday evening and we were alone but I was told it is often packed. We didn't have any food but the drinks were delightful and the service was impeccable. I didn't get to see the whole hotel but my companion assured me the rooms are equally nice. I'll be dropping in again for a cocktail at least.

The Matilda Midnight is a beautiful lounge with fantastic service from friendly, attentive staff and bartenders. The service is great, and the cocktails are wonderful. There are tapas and small plates to share as well. This has intimate seating so groups may be hard to seat. There are separate lounges as well. We loved the drinks, staff and location. There is free parking and valet available as well.

Four of us came in and tried all the menu cocktails. Each cocktail was vastly different from the next, and each was very good. The presentation was also exceptional. Our bartender was pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed the space.
