Maxx Bar & Grill

The dining area was decorated very cute for Halloween. Our server was really nice. She seemed to know many of her patrons by name or order. The menu had some fun appetizers that were very good, mac n cheese bites, and deep-fried corn bites. Both were delicious! My daughter and I ordered the same main corse with one variation, we had the pot roast sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, only my daughter held the bread. It was amazing! It was served hot and fresh with a good amount of gravy, which is so important. The potatoes were smooth and creamy, and the meat was just perfect, no fat or grisle at all. We wanted more, but we're stuffed at the same time!

This seat yourself bar and grill was a nice night out for adults. There is a side room detached from the main floor that is good for reserving parties. There are a few claw machines and a couple pool tables making it seem like a pleasant lunch experience for a family in the afternoon however I would not bring a child after 7 as it appears to get rather busy around the bar itself. I arrived with a guest arrived around 7p.m. on a Friday. Most parking spots were taken. Staff were friendly and the menu was expansive. We ordered the pickle rolls, which is an Asian inspired take on a fried pickle (yum). I chose to try the cowboy burger that was served with a borboun sauce on the side, I ordered mine well done but I feel as though medium well would better suit the beef since the burger was dry and the only flavor I got was the burnt outside of the patty. My guest ordered the pot roast dinner, the dinner comes with a choice of potatoes and choice of soup or salad. The home cooked quality of the roast was delicious. All in all we enjoyed our time. There was a band setting up but we didn't stay due to prior engagements. I would say if you like live music and are looking for a different place to try that has a country bar atmosphere and a no pressure low key but fun setting maxx bar and grill is a great place to go.

The food always looked good here when scoping out band venues. WOW! Best burger ever! Cooked to order. The other food we saw being delivered around us looked equally as good. Look forward to eating here again! Update: Got a bowl of chicken wild rice soup! The Best!! (see pic)

We came here with a bigger group to celebrate someone’s birthday, so the service was kinda slow and the food took a long time to come out. However, the food was still pretty good. I got the chicken ranch wrap with a side of the chicken wild rice soup and enjoyed them both. It also took awhile for us to get the bill.

Good food. Good service. We got the Cowboy Burger and Ray's Wrap, both were perfect. We were a little disappointed because both advertised that they came with a side of sauce and they didn't. Maybe it was because we ordered to go but you'd still think the sauce would be included. It's fine though because the food was still delicious. The Cowboy Burger almost had like a hint of whiskey and the Ray's Wrap was so amazingly cheesy. All four of the women I encountered inside were nice as heck. They were accommodating when I asked for a drink to go and were pleasant to talk to. We will definitely be back.

To start off with we have very high expectations with food, this establishment fell short of these expectations. We are trying to be very fair and honest with our reviews. I had the pot roast dinner it was about avg as what to be expected. The significant other had the PBJ burger. This is by far the worst tasting burger we have ever encountered. There was absolutely no flavor at all, none , zero. We can’t even begin to describe the lack of flavor. The only way you could tell that you were eating beef would be by the texture, I have never had beef with absolutely no flavor. Everything else in the burger was so bland. To be honest a double quarter pounder from McDonalds has 100times more flavor. If I was an owner of this establishment I would really look into why my burger has absolutely no taste. Service was ok and wasn’t really that bad sorta, the “ I don’t care mentality “. I hope others have better experiences. We will not be going back.

Bar tender was great and honest! The food that we had was to go their chicken wild rice soup and it was very yummy! Wd bought the quart size was 20 bucks seemed high but you get what you pay for I'd do it again!

I recently had some very traumatic stuff happen to me. The worst of my life. Worse then when my own uncle tried to take my life for telling him no.. And I came up here for about a hour I was planning on getting some food when I got done with some obligations on my devices. And the bartender Approached me very rudely and told me I had to go I was Loitering by quietly minding my own business finishing some work Right . the place was 1/3 full if that. I was planning on ordering food when done with work I probably would’ve ordered some drinks until bar close because I’m trying to avoid feeling. I will not be surprised in the Least, if this was a direct result of my faith. I’m a well-known Christian businessman in the area. Never harmed anyone, But I have scars all over my body from Multiple people seen physical violence says they only way to gain some kind of control over me After I started establishing boundaries and Speaking up a little bit I was just told a few weeks ago that I’m apparently perceived as a threat because of the dirt I have on the things I have seen experienced things that if I did open my mouth about to much I would probably be killed for it. I wish I would’ve buried my head in the dirt and closed my eyes and ears a long time ago. I was better off when I didn’t know things… This probably is no sweat off your back but I will not be returning to this establishment again and I will make sure anytime the opportunity is going to share my experience more in depth with people that I’m close to because nobody should be treated the way I was just treated for doing absolutely nothing at all. I said OK and quietly got up and left. Be safe everyone.
