Meraki Massage Lake Tahoe

Crystal has been my go to for massage in Tahoe for the last four years. I get massages regularly and have a high bar for quality. What I appreciate the most about Crystal is that she really cares about my wellbeing. She has strong hands and a warm heart. She listens to me when I ask for her to pay attention to a specific body part or when I am having a particular issue. I have had several sports related injuries and I always walk out feeling better and taken care of. I highly recommend Crystal (and I never leave reviews. This is how strongly I feel about her work.

BEST MASSAGE THERAPIST IN TAHOE! I have lived in Tahoe for over 15 years and have tried nearly every therapist in town. When a friend recommended Crystal, at Meraki, I knew I had to try her. Since then, I have been a loyal customer of Meraki with no plans to ever see another massage therapist again. She is THE BEST. Truly spectacular, and super accommodating of my always changing schedule with work, two kids, and a busy life. Crystal goes out of her way to change appointments for me when I need them, even if it is outside of her cancelation window and makes me feel like a very important and valued part of her business. I can't recommend Meraki Massage enough. 100 out of 10 stars!

I’ve been going to Crystal since 2021, and each time has been beyond lovely. She is by far the best massage therapist I’ve ever gone to (and I’ve gone to A LOT over the years). Think nurturing but real, productive work. Sometimes I just need to relieve tension, and other times I’ve got some gnarly structural problem areas. She adjusts her plan accordingly, and I walk away feeling oh so much better. She’s worked on me throughout a pregnancy, a ski accident, and later a workout schedule. I cannot recommend her enough. The setting is simple, clean, and cozy. Not a spa but who cares?! Would you rather pay for a fancy overpriced resort massage that leaves you disappointed OR some of the best bodywork you can get anywhere?

Crystal is excellent. I have had several massages from her over the years to focus on neck/shoulder and leg pain. Each time has been very professional and I leave feeling MUCH better. I highly recommend Meraki Massage and will hopefully be back soon!

Meraki Massage is the place to go in Tahoe City. Love how quiet and cozy the room is, even in the heart of downtown. Crystal has an amazing touch and is alway in tune with needs. I love the monthly membership as it is a great deal and keeps my neck and shoulders pain free from month to month.

My experience with Meraki Massage was beyond disappointing. Spend your money somewhere else—Meraki Massage doesn’t deserve it. We were visiting Lake Tahoe for the first time, excited to enjoy a relaxing massage. I booked and paid in advance through my debit card, only to realize just two hours later that the scheduled time wouldn’t work for us. We would have to drive across Tahoe, making it impossible to keep the appointment. When I called Meraki to cancel, they showed zero empathy and refused to honor a refund, despite the fact that I was within a 2hrs hours of booking and their policy supposedly allows cancellations up to 72 hours in advance. The owner’s dismissive attitude and refusal to work with me felt like a clear sign that customer satisfaction is the last thing on their priority list. They were quick to take my money but wouldn’t even consider a reasonable request for a refund. If you’re thinking of spending your money with Meraki, reconsider. This place operates with a blatant disregard for their own policies, and their lack of accountability and compassion toward customers is astonishing. They take money up front and refuse refunds, even if you cancel within hours of booking, which seems more like a cash-grab strategy than a customer-centered business. On our last day in Tahoe, we found a Chinese spa offering an excellent massage for $70 an hour, with no deposit and no drama. Meraki could learn a lot from them about how to treat customers. This experience left a sour taste, and I wouldn’t wish this kind of frustration on anyone. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place!
