Outstanding and life changing. Ruthie has a gift and is a gift. What an amazing recommendation this place was! Her vast knowledge, techniques, passion and heart make this place the absolute best. I have a lot of muscle issues and for the first time in my life I've found someone that truly knows how to handle it, how to help me heal and does so with such grace. From reading other reviews, I must say, we need to remember that a human being is providing this wonderful healing service and that just like for us, life can get difficult in unforseen ways. Thank you Ruthie!

Ruthie is an amazing healer and has been my go-to therapist for over a year and half now. She is kind, compassionate and works with you to create a holistic plan to address what ails you. My shoulder and lower back issues have improved dramatically since I started seeing her.

I waited over a month to write this review, but like another person said- I got ghosted. My appointment with Ruthie was confirmed for mid-day on a Tuesday so I took off work to get a massage as a gift from my partner to prep for a stressful upcoming surgery. I got to my appointment 10 minutes early and I wasn’t given any warning that there wouldn’t be a front desk person or that the doors would be locked (which would’ve been completely fine, if I’d been informed). I waited for 5 minutes in the 106 degree heat before calling the number on the door. The person who answered said they’d call my massage therapist and let them know I’d arrived. Then I waited outside in the heat for another 15 minutes before calling (now 10 minutes after the appt was set to start) and called again. The person on the phone was shocked that Ruthie hadn’t come out yet and said she’d call again. I told her I needed to wait in my car due to the heat. I waited ANOTHER 10 minutes before trying to call again and having to leave a voicemail saying I could no longer wait. On my way back to work (30 minutes after my initial appointment time), I got a call from the same person I’d been speaking to saying that Ruthie was still massaging another client and would be done “soon”. I informed them that I couldn’t wait as it was now over 30 minutes after my start time. There were no apologies and no one ever followed back up with me to apologize or explain. I understand things happen and had no problem when it was 10 or 15 minutes, but the lack of communication or consideration for a new client’s time was so upsetting and wasteful that it caused me more stress than before I’d booked it.

Ruthie has been my go to therapist for years now since she was the only Massage Therapist who ever made a difference for me. She works my neck in the only way that has gotten rid of my headaches. I am grateful for her and the work she does she never rushes me in or out which helps with my ability to feel comfortable she helps me afford our sessions and gives her time to help me. She is an amazing part of my health care team and is the real deal her massage actually works. She always makes things work out and I have patience with her because she has it for everyone else all the time. I also know that shes going through a lot of hard things and I see 1 star reviews and thats crazy because its not for her service or the studio. Yall should ask yourself why that's happening not just give a 1 star review. Ruthie thank you for helping me and I would give 1000 stars and hope people reading theses reviews ignore the ones from people who haven't had her work or know her.

I booked an appointment with the owner Ruthie and when I showed up she wasn’t there. Someone texted me 15 minutes after the appointment should have started that she was running late but I’d already left. They rescheduled me and then about an hour before the appointment she cancelled it. They scheduled me 2 days later and she completely ghosted me! I was shocked at the in professionalism. Not even the scheduler knew where she was. Then as i come here to write this review i learn that this isn’t the first time this has happened. They gave me a free massage with Shayne but not even ruthie would see me again nor did she reach out to apologize. Shane is good and professional but I don’t want to go back there again and i think it’s unfortunate that he’s associated with her. I bought a gift card that has a balance but they wouldn’t give me the remaining amount back.

I booked an appointment, showed up, and got ghosted. I booked an appointment on Sunday for Tuesday 12-1 and filled out all the paperwork. I got a text from the massage therapist while I was driving to my appointment that she was running 15 min late. Well that’s fine things happen. She said she would text me when she unlocked the door and it was time to come in. I sit in the their parking lot until 12:20 then text them that I’m still there. No response. Then at 12:35 I realize I no longer have time to do the hour time slot I booked, so I leave. They have yet to ever text me back, call me, or send me an email and it’s been days! Such an awful experience. Just know that even when you book, get approved for an appointment, you may never get a massage.

I have also waited a month to write this review because I was hoping I’d receive a call that would make me change my mind. My story is similar to the others. The appointment was confirmed and then I was ghosted the day of my appointment with no call back. I live 30 minutes away as well. It’s a shame because my first massage was wonderful. This same thing happened to a friend that was going there as well

Ruth has helped me immensely with my back and neck pain. She knows what she’s doing. This is not your relaxing massage but more so putting in the work that your body needs to function better. I’ve had hundreds of massage therapists over 10 years and she’s in my top 3 if not #1. She’s also helped lessen my knee joint pain with this new stretching technique. After seeing her I feel pretty great overall. My posture is better and I’m less stiff. I’ve made it a priority to see her atleast once a month for a regular health care routine. Highly recommend Merkaba.
