Meticulous Massage

The best massage of my life! Nedra made me feel so comfortable in her space and then allowed me to completely turn off my brain and just receive the gift of a peaceful massage. 10/10 would recommend whether you’re local or in the Loop on vacation or business!

Possibly the best massage I’ve ever had. Nedra was such a pro. The pressure was perfect. The ambiance was very relaxing. And the oils she used have left my body feeling moisturized but not too oily. Highly recommend & I will definitely be back.

I was having a particularly rough week with migraines and saw Nedra in the hopes of some relief. She went to town on my neck, back, and shoulders with a deep tissue massage and loosened everything up. The next morning was the first in two weeks that I woke up without a headache. Thank you so much!

My massage saved my vacation. I had been suffering from chronic headaches that had gotten so bad I was thinking of heading home early since it was hard to enjoy anything. As a Hail Mary, I searched for massage therapists near me, since my experience with hotel spas are that they tend to be more relaxing than therapeutic. I feel so lucky to have found Nedra. She is highly gifted and I felt so much better just even 5 minutes into the massage. It's nearing the end of the day and I haven't had to take any pain medication- which was unthinkable 24 hours ago. Wow. I initially saw this place online almost a year ago, but either appointments were booked up or I wasn’t nearby at the available times. I kept checking back. Well…I was able to book my first appointment and I see why people rave about her!! Nedra is THE best!! I wish more people were in the loop area to experience her miraculous (and obviously meticulous) hands!

My neck and shoulders have been so tight for weeks and I finally decided to get a deep tissue massage and Nedra worked her magic. She took her time to work out my knots and constantly checked that I was doing okay. I’ll def be back next time I’m in town for work!

I’m new to the city and found Nedra on Google Maps, close to my office. Her spa studio is located in a beautiful, old building in The Loop. I loved my experience from start to finish. Nedra has created such a relaxing environment in the middle of the city, with special care and attention poured in to all the little details. My favorite part was the hot towels at the end of the deep tissue massage. I felt so happy on my way home. Thank you Nedra and I will definitely be back!

My wife suffers from chronic pain and we are visiting Chicago from Seattle. Despite many years of PT and other treatments, her only relief from the pain is through massage. There are a few good massage therapists in Seattle that help relief my wife's pain through regular sessions and we were looking for someone while we were in Chicago. Nedra's very positive reviews and that she graduated from the Chicago Soma Institute gave us hope. However, after a 90 minutes massage, my wife only had a little relief with her hip pain. There was no difference for the rest of her body. It's frustrating because my wife's pain is very debilitating. To not get pain relief makes it impossible for her to enjoy the time in Chicago and it will make the upcoming flight home a nightmare. I understand that some massages are just for wellness but the Meticulous Massage website claims that the massage I booked for my wife is "for pain relief" and further claims "Relieves tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Great for athletes!" (see attached screenshot). Despite that description, with the exception of the hip area, the massage my wife received was superficial in nature. Lastly, the massage is very expensive compared to other options in the Chicago downtown area at $225 for 90 minutes and after the massage the suggested tip options were 25%, 30% or 35%.
